Alternate Energy Innovation

I read a lot of blogs with some pretty neat ideas concerning alt. energy and energy efficiency so I was just interested in starting a discussion for those really interesting in this field and want to share some great ideas. Below I pasted one blog I thought had a pretty neat innovative idea of wind turbine systems, it could even be converted to harness ocean or water currents possibly (?):
