Urgent Evoke

A crash course in changing the world.

Wisdom is a great tool of the work we do in the EVOKE Network.  Wisdom comes from our mentors.  For this challenge, I look to you, agents, to help the Network become wiser.

I challenge each of you to recruit a mentor

Introduce us to a person you think would bring wisdom and experience to the EVOKE Network, and make certain they sign up to join.

Chronicle your mentor recruitment adventure in a blog post, video, or photo.  Tag it "MENTORRECRUIT" and introduce your mentor to your fellow agents.

Good challenge Alchemy!

Karen
Here is a Google invite I created based upon the excellent collaboration with my fellow Evokers. You just fill in the blanks with links to blogs that exemplify what Evoke means to you and then speak to why you chise this mentor.

Hi Every one
I agree with all of us that we are here to play and improve ourselves. But I am so shocked about what was said by agent Panamericana, he called me a PIG! Today, he added 7 photos, and give himselves 14 points, and add some other points for pictures which were not power voted. What do you call this. Insult on public networking and cheating on the network.

Because some of us think that they know better, they speak about Ethics but do not use those morality concepts int reality. How can you call someone a Pig, and it is over. I want to go the South African Human Rights to raise a concerned regarding this insults. It is a Big issue. I must take Legal action against him.
It is a great idea! Alchemy, you should lead by example. Where are all these social innovators that will be mentors to those that win a mentorship? Aren't they invited?
dominique sermon because she has done some incredible stuff to flushing and shes really awesome
I wouldn't worry about the points. Check out heroes of the week, you'll notice they probably aren't even on the leaderboard. Having points is one thing, but the heroes are selected on the basis of their character and ideas. Come up with some creative ideas, collaborate, and see what happens.

Mr Jacque Fresco has been working his entire life coming up with solutions to the worlds problems
Now that the world is falling apart, with the way things are now, people are finally beginning to listen. People all over the world are joining in.

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.

Where I will be in ten years.

Ten years from now I will be in a political job assisting with people in the midlands of South Carolina particularly the rural working class and farmers. As the class of people that feed the nation I find that it is imperative that we assist with making sure they produce as much food as possible. I would like to support local scientists as well that are leading in research on how to produce food more efficiently. I will also be participating in missions to foreign countries to help people with…See More

India Water home

The secret was living on the water via boats common in many developing countries like Myanmar. This is a real Indian boat home made of wood and this provides a shelter for many peoples around the world.

Charleston has an exhibit opening up with pieces of old african art and sculptures. Every piece of art, quilts and dolls, is beautiful and engaging in their own way… Many of them address the mermaids that followed the slave ships to return the souls…
