My dream challenge would ask the EVOKE network to work in collaborative process to come up with ideas on providing communities that are in environmentally inhospitable situations food solutions. My interest in this area has to do with the Inuit in the Arctic, food is shipped in on barges 9 months prior to arrival. You can imagine the foods that can last that long don't provide an abundance of nutrition. Dairy and vegetables that are flown in are at a price that most can not afford. Deteriorating culture (in some cases) high rates of suicide and substance abuse and an over all lack of nutritional food and the highest rate of type 2 diabetes in North America all culminate to make a bad situation worse.
Via Campesina highlights that food is a basic human right, the goal being to create the availability of sustainable, nutritious and safe food. While emphasizing respect for cultural differences, for every person on our planet.
If we can come up with a cost effective solutions to increase the quality of life in some of the most remote and extreme areas in the world, wouldn't it be so much easier to implement what we have learned in areas that aren't so unforgiving?
My challenge is find a way that not only creates nutritious food but does it in a respectful manner that is culturally sensitive and completely inclusive utilizing not only dominant culture but also the people from a remote hypothetical Arctic community in the process.

For the last 30+ years I have travelled to many countries worldwide, I moved 38 times.
The challenge I lay down to all of you is POVERTY,nto only what you see on tv, but the real one,
where people have nothing then themself.
The issue is not only can we help them, the issue is not even can the funding organisations help, but is it possible through the strenghth of this network to not only help, but advise them on their future.
I have flown first class, have stayed in the best hotels in the world, been from home 9 months of the year, but most pleasure came in the weekends, when I took a hotel car and told the driver to bring me to an area, which he understood, where there was no tap water, nosanitation, noenergy, no education, no health and that was the times , i really understood the reality.
I believed and still do that money can not save these people and I must tell you i have been invited to their homes and they would give you more then they owned, only to discuss with you the issues important to them and their families.
I still am involved through talking with government officials, educational bodies and other parties who could influence to parcicipate, by trying to eradicate some od the poverty.
Maybe through this forum we will become more aware or others around us, because poverty is everywhere,
not only in the disadvantaged countries, but in all parts of the world.
It is always been my believe and this will not change, that education shold be on the forefront of everything,but also learned that to do this all the ssentials to survive , like water , food and health play an intrinsical part of survival.
All you people worldwide , who believe in the POWER of communication, this is your real change.
People together have the power of change, 15 years ago this was impossible, but now we can communicate we should take this change.

I think that something should be said for the interpretation of poverty from the perspective of a developed nation, I agree education should be implemented in developing countries, I also think the developed countries could do for a little reality check and trip back to the classroom. The more informed a person is on a subject the more invested they will be. It's all too easy in today's world to glaze over news that is worlds away. The simple truth of the matter is people have become desensitized to it or found a way to justify not caring.

I challenge the network to evoke others.
Evoking more agents will untimately help with any project in the EVOKE network collaborative efforts, new connections and teams, enlargening our base and help with collective intelligence and creative challenges.
I have started the challenge, including rules and a more thorough explanation, as a blog post here.
I am not entirely sure how to track progress, so I ask you guys for some help (I am sure you guys can keep track of the Invite function). I recommend to award each agent that successfully recruits a new one +3 Collaboration.
Remember, time is of the essence here - the earlier we start, the more we will have achieved in May - so please act and decide quickly.

We need a planetary WH*** BRAIN REVOLUTION!!!
Our fundamental issue: We are all out of balance. I evoke each individual to learn about energy and then learn to balance their own. The importance of such is illustrated in Taoist philosophy...if you wish to change the world, you must first change yourself, and then you will find that is all that is necessary.
I am beginning to write about how our planetary problems have originated from the very separation of the values inherent within the right and left hemispheres of our brains and are thus calling for "A Wh*** Brain Revolution." Read more at Catherine Isadora's Sensual Intrepid.
I have learned first hand exactly how difficult it is to change or correct myself. If we are unable or unwilling to do this difficult work--over which we may learn to exert some control--how may we ever realistically expect to change other people and thus the world? This is THE CRUCIAL ISSUE.
I thing the EVOKE network should stress "emotional consciousness" so that we might all come to see more clearly how our own personal prejudices, insecurities, proclivities, etc., which have all been inherited from a grossly out-of-balance world, continue to enable the philosophies and “systems” which evolved though this maladjusted epoch to continue enslaving us.
Our emotions which have been so repressed historically should be our guide, so in effect becoming conscious of the emotional content of our actions or reactions is key to understanding what drives us. This consciousness involves learning about the subtle, nuances of values, norms, and inherited attitudes which make up the reality of our world. These attitudes are the given assumptions which are the foundation of our everyday experiences which we do not question or scrutinize. At a basic level we are often “unconscious.” Here is a personal example: I was a rough, tough, and tumble tom-boy as a child. I played sports and avoided all things feminine from a very early age. It is how I had always known myself, and how my family always saw me. My failure to exhibit traditional feminine qualities was often remarked upon by my mother throughout my life as she had “always wished for a Polly Flinders dress girl,” who she would dress up and primp.
Well, though examining my life over the past 13 years, I suddenly and quite amazingly realized that I am such a girl (woman). I am a hypersensitive woman with a soft marshmallow core and not the toughie I had always assumed. Wow! I was stunned to realize this and it has been extremely hard for me to integrate; being soft and womanly is not only scary but often dangerous on this patriarchal planet that venerates the masculine and denigrates the feminine.
Evidently as a small, sensitive child, I had realized (not intellectually or rationally, but emotionally and physically) the low esteem that is relegated to “girls” and had opted to not be associated with girl behavior. Phrases like “don’t be a sissy like a girl,” “don’t cry like a girl,” “I always wondered how a girl’s (woman’s) brain works,” etc., while seemingly innocent (we’ve heard them so often) are really quite detrimental to girls self-esteem and teach boys as well as girls a disrespect of all things associated with being feminine from a very early age. These attitudes then form the basis of our life values which we carry into adulthood and remain hidden until we might consciously address them, if we’ve the courage and the will to do so.
All of us have been impacted by the inherent hierarchal nature in viewing the world through such lens. It is only in doing the difficult work in understanding how we each have been influenced; either with grandiose feelings of superiority or in tragic feeling of inferiority, that we might finally begin to move forward into creating a more egalitarian and sustainable world which respects and values our planet as well as each individual regardless of gender, race, nationality, class, etc.
Ultimately the challenge will be rewarded by a vastly changed world (Smile), but perhaps just another power button to remind EVOKER’s of this enormous asset—It’s all about conscious after all.

The problem with you is that you listen to some of the agent and you took wrong actions. You need to have your own action plan as the network controllers. You need to lok at the inputs of your agent, not on nationality. I like there fact that a person must first change before he or she can change the world. But it tough to make a huge input if the judges against you because of your nationality but not against you work presented. I wil suggest you to review all Top 5 inputs, and see whether they are relavant or not. You can see that, You can see without any doubt that you make a big mistake against me. You need to forget because I don't care.

I challenge the Evoke Network to get at least 3,000 "diggs" of this website on digg.com by May 12th. If we did so, so many people would hear about Urgent Evoke and so many more people would sign up. It would increase everything the Evoke community could do and increase its presence on the web.
Once you sign up for an account on digg.com all you'd have to do is go to http://www.urgentevoke.com and then type "digg.com/" before it to enable the diggbar. Then press digg it (you should be logged in beforehand or you will be prompted once you press "digg it").
You could also just search Urgent Evoke on digg.com and digg it through there.
This collaborative effort would be a great, amazing, and very beneficial gift to the Urgent Evoke Network. Each person who diggs it and can provide proof, should be rewarded with a collaboration and maybe a knowledge share.
