I have an idea that is very broad, but I feel like it has a place somewhere out there.
I'd like to create an education system to teach people skills that they can use to directly improve their local communities.
I'd like to come up with a model that can:
1. pay for itself as much as possible to keep in running.
2. be easily duplicated in any community.
3. be adaptable to the most urgent issues of each community.
While some issues can't be fixed by teaching a simple skill (ie. disease), I think that basic skills can perhaps improve the economy of a small community and increase their knowledge on certain issues (ie. they would be able to afford more care, and also learn how to prevent disease).
The amount of knowledge that we in the developed world possess is truly immense. If we can SHARE a little of this with those in less fortunate places, I think they can go a long way for themselves.

Looking for people interested in these ideas to collaborate over the coming weeks and perhaps put a defined Evokation together!
