Permalink Reply by CeCe Street on December 3, 2012 at 9:41pm "The crowd does not lie" means that if one person says something how do you know they are telling the truth? But if a wh*** crowd says the same thing individually you can have a pretty good idea.

Permalink Reply by Hannah Rose Fountain on December 4, 2012 at 12:03am I think this phrase means that the people do not lie,but are simply creating the news from true or false information that they have been given. They are not lying to the public or creating a publicity stunt, they are simply reacting to the news that they are obliged to believe is true.
