Urgent Evoke

A crash course in changing the world.

Hi everyone!

Step 1- Are you interested in learning more about Urban Farms or can you share knowledge about them?
Step 2- Imagine and share with all of us how do you imagine your ideal Urban Farm. What vegetables would can you grow in your area? What activities would you develop in this farm? How can this farm help your local community?

Imagine a world where in every city block we have a urban farm. A place to meet your neighbors, learn from the elder and the young, harvest
fresh organic produce, practice yoga and have potluck parties and dance
under the light of the moon!

What else can you do in this Urban Farms? Share your dreams!!!

1. I'm incredibly interested in learning about this - unfortunately, I've never heard of it before, so I have no information to share.

2. I imagine that urban farms located every block or so could be a huge effort towards outreach programs. They could be employment-based systems in which teens and the homeless are recruited and paid for their help. Teens would have a positive outlet for their energy and the homeless would have a source of hope and income to get a life started up again.
Another good idea on the EVOKE forums ! Do add it to the groups wiki page Patricio, that'll help you and your team collaborate more efficiently and give you more coverage. We're expecting farmpunk within the next 7 weeks thanks to you guys, sir !

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development.The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
