A crash course in changing the world.
How do you know about Evoke?
In China, there is only a few people knowing what ARG is.
If I didn't go to US, I would not be interested in it. My professor tell me some great work done by Jane Mcgonigal and then I get to know Evoke. After 10 weeks of playing, I figure out that I totally love it.
So what is your story?

I now Turil this was in a video from Alchemy. This agent probably was not able to see that video because of the goofy connection. One of the main problems with lack of resources (on "undeveloped" circ**stances) is that information gets corrupted on the way, making people feel upset and frustrated, not to mention the waste of energy and money. We should be there, we have to wear those shoes to understand...wait a minute, wasn't LEARN 1 all about this? ;-)

I never saw any video... I'm not sure what you're talking about.
But please tell your friend that they only have to do one of each week's missions to get certified (as per the EVOKATIONS FAQ). That way you'll give her a chance to get what she wants. :-)
And I agree that the game isn't perfect. It's an experiment. And the feedback we offer in our missions this week about what we'd like to see in the next version of the game will help shape the future, so letting them know that you want ways to ensure those who don't have fancy technology can still play and enjoy playing.

I heard from a friend - Siena Anstis. She is a very resourceful person -always updated about almost everything.
So, when she sent me the email address she said, Register for this Game and participate!!
So, I read about UE on the blog and I registered, also noted 3rd March in my planner.
Here I am now, 10 weeks down the road.

Thanks for your concerns Turil. We need more people like you in the world.
I am sure the agent will be fine. Installing and fixing goofy connections on refugee camps is not the responsibility of UE or WBI. I guess the first edition of UE was not intended to reach users on such remote places anyway ;-).
Now there is a network of more than 19000 agents who can help improve UE and also some shameful situations on this planet.

I think I even signed up for the last one, but thought it was way too negative. And so when I saw the TED talk, which was overwhelmingly positive, and I remembered an acquaintance of mine on LiveJournal who had been talking about working on one of the previous games (I even thought that might have been Jane, since I didn't remember her real name), and came here immediately. And when I got here, I saw my LJ friend's name on the Leaderboard, and joined and friended her immediately. :-) And since I'd just ended a major project in my life, I had an opening for something new and big, this ended up being the perfect thing!

Here is my story..
I got the link from a friend, former college friend. I was curious of what kind of game it would be. Then here i am, though sometimes I have not enough time to sign in and write something as I have to have fields visits, but still it's an interesting game. I found ideas, thoughts and creatives solution for many issues, and still hoping that I would learn more, explore more and trying to contextualize it, then put it as part of the efforts to empower the community I've been serving for almost a year.
So, I'd still love to receive ideas, feedback or maybe just a simple question that will help me to have a more in-depth study on the issues.

The meal
It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal.
