Urgent Evoke

A crash course in changing the world.

I thought it would be a good idea to understand the food culture of Japan so that the solution we suggest integrates well into their society. Yes, the game is placed in 2020, and maybe we'll see clues to the food culture then in the storyline as we go along. Otherwise, we'll have to assume it's close to what it is now. Anyone that wants to discuss what they eat, when they eat it,  what they don't eat, or agricultural, and work practices that might interfere or enhance a solution can post it here.

For instance, someone mentioned growing orange trees on rooftops, and yet, I think that would be a short-term solution. For one, they don't store well, and I think the average breakfast doesn't even include orange juice. I like potatoes, myself, but I'm not sure they're even a staple either.
OK I lived in Japan for 7 years.

And one huge issue in Japanese culture as it relates to food is they love their food fresh. And eating food in Japan was a true delight cause it was as if nothing was over a day old. That also meant food was more expensive.

Here in America, a big corporation may transport food surpluses hundreds of miles and we would get food at a cheap price. In Japan, local farms are more preferred.

Another thing about food in Japan, it's more about presentation and less about quantity. Japan is the only country in the world where I would see food from McDonald's as pretty as the pictures.

So food in Japan is fresh and pretty to look at.

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development.The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
