A crash course in changing the world.
SUGGESTION: We need Inns and Guild Houses!
I feel the communication, especially the brainstorming people do on here as a collaborative effort, could very much improve if there were places I would call Inns or Guild Houses.
Right now blog posts and responses to them are the way people communicate here. If a group of people connected by a certain project on Evoke could create or get a Guild House where they could talk online in real time, the development and implementation of ideas into the real world would become much faster and efficient.
Groups now are searching for these possibilities on Twitter, Facebook and the likes. This will work of course but and the possibilities are already there, but it takes them OUT OF Evoke and I think that is a pity.
Inns and Guild Houses would also add to the sense that EVOKE, in itself, is a WORLD, which would appeal to many more online game players and maybe pull them in.
Time for a few 3D game developers to join the effort?

Yes, I think that would really help. Right now it's very hard to figure out a way to connect with others on a group project. Leaving posts on each others blogs or group messages is not really very satisfactory. I can set up bulletin boards (could probably figure out how to set up chat, for that matter) for particular projects on my websites if people want them, but Floatstone is right-- it would be better to have it in-game.

It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal. The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
