Comment by Timo Vrunwik on May 7, 2012 at 3:24pm At first i select a meal from my database. Then the program order the ingredients of the meal and it will delivered. If the ingredients at home, the programm shows me, how i have to proceed. But before i start with cooking, the scanner from the program have to scan the ingredients to identify the individual parts. If the program knows the ma**** of indiviual parts, the process will be calculate. The furnace and the food processor is also controlled by the program. It tell me, when and what i have to do.

Comment by Janine Kneifel on May 6, 2012 at 11:00pm I harvest the vegetables and herbs from our own garden and then I go to our local farmers market to buy everything else I need. I make home-made pasta and mix it with vegetables and herbs. A perfect dinner for my wh*** family to eat at home on a Sunday evening after a long day outside! It tastes fresh, intensive and crunchy.

It is a saturday evening. Me and my good friend want to have a dinner. We decide to visit this one restaurant near a farm.
The restaurant is next to a farm. The Restaurant get their foods mostly from the farm or farms in the near. A few foods must bought in a wh***sale. The dish is called "Farmers-Mix". It consists of a tiny piece of chicken and pig and some different kinds of vegetables like salad, potato, carrots and tomato. The meals will be the same like today. The dinner is prepared with less fat and the vegetables taste fresh from the field. The lunch tasted very delicious and it was very light and healthy. The problem is, that the all ingredients are not produced from on a farm. It was produced synthetic in a laboratory. By the synthetic production it is possible to use the foods longer and of course more efficient. The food becomes more healthy and on that way can it used around the world. You will have no overproduced foods, that you must to thrown away. The synthetic foods are so long durable, that the restaurants and food-preparer have no fear about the durable. And if enough foods on the market the production can easily reduced. You have also no longer problem with the season.

I'm really not sure whether my nutrition will change significant in 2020. From today's point of view I think my taste won't be different that much. But if I think about a meal in 2020 I imagine that the preparing will start at the weekly farmer's market. Here it's possible to buy fresh seasonal ingredients and to consult the farmers directly about their produces. Furthermore it's possible and of course very important to stimulate the regional agriculture.
Since nearly 6 years I adopt a vegetarian lifestyle. So probably I would choose some vegetables for the dinner. Because of the season (March) I would decide for kohlrabi. 'Fried kohlrabi' is a simple but also a very tasty recipe. To my mind appropriate side dishes would be boiled potatoes, mashed potatoes as well, carrots, herbs (maybe chive) and always onions and garlic :o). There are certainly only vegetables but I think my children and my husband will like it too. The kids will be involved in making the fried kohlrabi (turn slices into flour, egg and breadcrumbs) so I hope they transfer their fun in making it to the eating it. For those family members who need 'something with more consistency' it's possible to serve fish too.
Comment by Neve Chambers on May 3, 2012 at 7:21am I've just got home from teaching a swimming class how to swim with clothes and shoes on. I sit down at the dinner table with my flatmate Maxine after we have just cooked some chicken and noodle soup with some crusty bread. Its a delicious meal that doesn't cost much, great for me! We sit at the table, eat and talk about our day before we clean up and watch some TV.

Comment by Xanthe Koorey on April 30, 2012 at 11:46pm I have just came home to my cozy flat, from a long day of teaching kids about how to survive in the wild. I don't feel like doing too much cooking, beause i am so tired. So me and my flatmate, Taylor, quickly cook up some fried rice using some of the brown rice in the cupboard and vegetables we found in the fridge. It's not a fancy three-course meal, but its enough to fill me up.
I am in the Kitchen making one of my only specialty's: Toad in the h***. I have just come home from china researching into poverty problems for my next book. I sit down to a second hand table with my flatmate elizabeth.

Comment by Danielle Millar on April 23, 2012 at 10:35pm I am in the kitchen in the old, rugged, crowded dining room full of orphans in a town in Africa. I'm here on a missions trip and the other missionaries and I are making all the kids dinner. We are making soup with bread. Once it is done, me and the other missionaries serve up the food to the wh*** group of orphan kids. We also sit down with some children and make some light conversation. This meal isn't the most luxurious of meals, it is very simple and quick. But the children and us missionaries are happy, as food is food and we are lucky to have it.
I'm in the kitchen, cooking dinner for my flat mates in our Spanish flat, Anita & Catalina both Spanish, and both very pretty, they are coming down for tea now. i had layed out a dark red cloth mat on the table with a hot plate of tortillas beside the plate of salad and lemon water and which Catalina had picked up from the street fruit bar on her way home from work which is working on her latest video audition. The tortilla shells had been made by Anita who is trying to be a chef in Spain. She also had bought the beef mince form the local butcher on sale cheap. And on my way home from on my latest script with my director, and working as an image consultant, i dropped in at my parent’s farm to pick up the chilli beans for the meal and organic cheese, all organic! I finish the last touches to my meal and then sit down at the table and start to eat.
Comment by Maeve Burns on April 22, 2012 at 10:47pm I'm sitting at the dinner table with my flatmates, Gabby and Sam in our Riccarton flat. There is a steaming platter of nachos in the middle of the red and white checked tablecloth with a basket of freshly baked soft white rolls that Gabby made after her shift at Subway. Our water gla**** are filled to the brim, and each of us have a special treat of a bottle of Lemon, Lime and Bitters. I had a day off Police School , so I'd been to the nearest supermartket. We don't make much money, so we have to save alot, and after a week of comparing prices we had decided Countdown was the cheapest. Sam had recieved a Pizza Hut promotion to Junior Manager, so instead of these no-brand corn chips we had doritos. The cheese was regular edam, and we had beef mince that had been on sale. The chilli beans had been bought on special, so we overall had a pretty cheap dinner. The spinach was grown inb the graden and so was the corn. A pretty good meal if you ask me
