Future of Money - Imagine

EVIDENCE TAG:
IMAGINE5
STATUS:

It's April 1, 2020, and Citizen X needs YOU to help report on breaking economic news.

A new local bank, exchange, or currency just opened up for business -- and you're the closest shadow journalist to the scene.

Your mission: File a breaking report on the new operation before anyone else gets to the story.

Make sure to report on all the important details:

  • What is it called? Where is it?
  • Who created it? How does it work?
  • What community does it serve? What problem does it solve?

Of course, without visual proof, it's all just rumors. So back up your story by adding at least one original video, photo, or artwork (created by YOU) to bring your news story to life.

Your objective:

Go beyond words this week to bring us breaking news from the future of money. Report on a new local bank, exchange or currency. You must include an *original* video, photo or artwork with your report.

This objective is worth +15 creativity.

Get credit for your evidence! After you submit your evidence in a blog post, photo or video, go to the newly posted evidence page and log your evidence for this objective. Then you'll receive credit on your profile page!

A cool new store has opened in California called Grow Ur Own. This store is designed to stop obseity in America by encouraging people to grow their own food and try new recipes. When you become a member you are given a large patch in the outdoor garden, and you can purchase packets of seeds for most things, including the breakthrough pasta plant! Lessons on gardening are avalible for a small fee and so are cooking cla**** for every age and ability.

A Brand-New cafe has moved into Spain!!!!! It's called Chev Pinot. 3 flat mates have created this cafe, and it is on a sunny hill so that the customers can have their meal/drink in the sun, and it is also solar powered and wind powered, and it is not very expensive either. The community is in the Spain community, and it solves the problem of power so money and it has outside tables.http://www.arch-times.com//HLIC/15e5cea84e6c9d008c93b1ce4a3fa219.jpg

A brand new cafe has moved in to the city center of Christchurch. The cafe is called 'Serve Yourself Cafe' and is owned my Christchurch local, Wendy Moore. It is a self- serving cafe, where you serve yourself and make your own food with the provided ingredients, instead of staff serving you. This is why it is now the new cheapest cafe in Christchurch, as there are not many staff so the customers do not need to pay for how much work the staff would put in to making the food, drinks, etc. It is for the kind and honest Christchurch community and solves the problem of expensive cafes. It has a great outdoor setting and location with a lot of plants and flowers. A great money saver! http://www.public.asu.edu/~camartin/plants/Plant%20html%20files/Ros...

Sweet mothers flower is a small café where you can help to either decorete it or bring in some new furniture - as a revort you get a free meal :) it's a great idea for people who don't earn a lot of money- and the place is really famous for its great etic.

just some ideas that poped up in my mind just now:
- the "other bank" - you can withdraw money - but it's not for you, but for other people.
your financial situation is interconnected with others
- the community bank - each community has it's own bank and manages it - it's a great way to keep your own interest :)

WORLD CURRENCY ESTABLISHED!
An idea in the works for decades started by Henry Kissinger has finally come to fruition, a universal currency used by every country in the world, administered by the World Bank, the IMF, and the Federal Reserve. The $100 bill is green and has a picture of Mayer Rothschild on it, who once said "give me control of a nations currency and I care not who makes the laws." No word on how these organizations decide the way the money will be distributed, but some economic circles suspect it will be based on ethnic privilege.

Arriving at customs, I knew this was going to be an interesting assignment, instead of a customs agent I was greeted by a what looked like a stainless steel panel. I was directed to wave my right hand in front of the panel, as I did, the face of a woman appeared on the screen,"Welcome Mr.Baxter I trust you had a comfortable flight. Cab #46 is waiting to take you to your hotel,if you choose to walk in the city please take the silver card at the bottom of the screen, that will be your currency during your stay on the Island of Cuba."
I took the card and headed for the taxi ,I needed a shower and some island food .

The next morning at brunch with the regional Governor Mr.Pleasant, I sat at the table, incredulous.
This man just got through explaining to me how this Island Society made the transition from a monetary economic system to a society that no longer used Money.
He also explained what Citizen Central was, and how Citizen Central became the tool for creating
and manifesting Government policy throughout all branches of government.

As I write my report of my visit to this Island, I realize, what I witnessed was a society not only functioning but thriving , without the use of money, and with a political system that actually reflected
what the Citizens chose for domestic and foreign policy.

Before I go to press with my report that details both these dynamics. Maybe we should all have an opportunity to reflect on how this would manifest.
1. Imagine our society functioning without money, how would it work ?
2. Citizen Central, imagine the Citizens from all the divergent, yet collinear organizations throughout the country converging into one unified Citizen Lobby.
With an agreed upon To Do List
A. Eliminating hunger in the U.S. and the rest of the world.
B. Allocate resourses to States, Cities and Towns to fund social issues, repair and construct
infrastructure.
C. Universal Health
D.Foreign Policies that reflects the best interest of the Citizens of the countries we aid.
E. Specific projects implemented to curb environmental degradation

Money would be entirely out of the political equation.
So how does Citizen Central work?
