What Happens Next - ACT

EVIDENCE TAG:
ACT10
STATUS:

Write the first episode of EVOKE Season 2.

You lived the first season of EVOKE. Now it's your turn to help write the second season -- and continue the story in the year 2021.

To write a good script, you'll have to think about your story visually as well as narratively. Explore these resources to see how other graphic writers approach the stories they choose to tell:

Alchemy will choose his favorite ideas from the completed missions to create the first episode of Season 2. So get your best, most creative ideas in this week -- and help write the next great adventure for the EVOKE network.

How do the EVOKE heroes evolve? What great challenges to they take on? What technologies and solutions are available to them in 2021?

Remember: You don't have to draw anything to submit a script. However, if you want to share drawings, you can!

Your objective:

Write your own script for the first episode of Season 2. Work alone, or in teams. Use this week's investigation file as a template for an EVOKE script -- and share your original EVOKE script as a blog post.

This objective is worth +50 creativity.

Get credit for your evidence! After you submit your evidence in a blog post, photo or video, go to the newly posted evidence page and log your evidence for this objective. Then you'll receive credit on your profile page!

In the next evoke, we will be talking to cutting edge scientists trying to find cures for cancer and aids and how close they are to finding the antedote.

Comment by Elizabeth Ordway on October 23, 2013 at 12:14am

have fake countries with their own problems that we get to fix.

Comment by Arthur Sigfried Miltner on December 14, 2012 at 11:51pm

I think that in the next season of Evoke the "team" should focus on contagious and infectious diseases in third world countries.

Comment by Olivia Koenig on December 14, 2012 at 12:11pm
I think also that next Evoke should do something about all the very bad natural resource problems in Africa. We could focus on how to stop deforestation and desertification, poaching, conflict diamonds, etc.
Comment by NaamaErez on December 14, 2012 at 3:06am

I think EVOKE should split up across the world. The reason being that there are too many problems and you don't need that many people just that many minds and that is why we are here.

Comment by Brian Adam Smith on December 14, 2012 at 3:06am

In the next evoke we should get in teams and have the teacher assign you different third world countries and you should only do the missions on your country.

Comment by madalyn lieberman on December 14, 2012 at 2:27am

In the next Evoke I think we should focus on Africa. Evoke could cover all the problems from poaching, polluted water, and conflict diamonds to how to help all the children from dieseases.

Comment by Sydney Koeneman on December 14, 2012 at 2:23am

Int he next Evoke I think they should tackle problems in each continent starting with Africa. Each agent should tackle a different problem such as poaching or conflict diamonds.

Comment by Brian Hill on December 14, 2012 at 2:19am

The first episode will focus on the new problem at hand: poaching. The team, who has been split up for 10 years, will unite once again.

Comment by Peter Thomas Duncan on December 14, 2012 at 2:08am
In the next episode groups should be assigned to a country in need and do research on how to help. This would help us have a bigger view on earth.
Comment by Hannah Rose Fountain on December 13, 2012 at 11:02pm

Int he next episode, I think the agents should tackle problems like conflict diamonds and poaching in Africa, since that continent has many problems in terms of use of natural resources (conflict diamonds!) and many nations there are poor and their citizens may live on only 1 or 2 dollars a day.
Also, it should be like after a few years once the team has split up, like in 2035 or sometime then, and then they get a surprise call.

Comment by Hal Olson on December 13, 2012 at 9:53pm

In the next Evoke episode, the team would be in their own home town. There, they would be working with the homeless in their city, and trying to build their confidence in their selves and other human beings. This would go on to help them come up with bold solutions to their own problems, rather than relying on handouts.

Comment by Grant Reeder on December 13, 2012 at 9:15pm

The first episode should have all the evoke mambers split up and have to be called by Alchemy to Africa to investigate the war torn areas such as Congo

Comment by Lily Davis on December 13, 2012 at 2:53am

Evoke's next mission is to prove to people how bad poaching is in Africa and what we can do to stop it.

Comment by Joshua Bennafield on December 12, 2012 at 11:30pm
I think Evoke's next mission should tackle the poaching and the effects of water pollution .
Comment by Christian Sutton on December 12, 2012 at 11:04pm

The first episode should be where the evoke members are with their families, but they have to do a mission about the effects of poaching. And for some odd reason, they can't because they are trapped in their city.

Comment by Elise Flanagan on December 12, 2012 at 2:43am

the nest story should be about environmental problems. these can include everything from cutting down the rainforest, to animal abuse, to poaching, to extinction of animals, pollution, etc.

Comment by Zeba Huque on December 11, 2012 at 10:15pm

I think Evoke's Next Mission topic should be on animal cruelty. Savings the endangered, stopping poachers, etc.

Comment by Harris Cohen on December 11, 2012 at 9:47pm

The first episode of Evoke mission two should be about helping prisoners become better people
.

Comment by Caroline Thomson on December 11, 2012 at 9:38pm

I think the first episode of EVOKE season 2 should talk about animals that are endangered and that are being poached.

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
