did you use a coal chisel? or an awl and hammer? kind of stone? great work, congratulations.

Michele, I am afraid I don't know the difference between an awl and a coal chisel. I bought the chisel on friday as it was the smallest in the shop for stone work, it is in the picture, the little hammer I had already, its little and light. I also used a file and at the end sand/glass paper. The stone is limestone, it had some fossils in it, so I was lucky it didn't break.

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years.
