A crash course in changing the world.
I made a "scuplture" of two handshaking figurines. I chose this gesture as a part of indigenous knowledge because apart from greeting and agreement this gesture to me symbolizes mainly one thing: close person-to-person contact. What nowadays to us seems to be an everyday-act, may in a few dozen years be already a rare thing to see. With mobile phones, video conferences (e.g. via Skype) and (first and foremost) Facebook and other online communities dominating nowadays social contacts the action of leaving the house for to meet people in personal has almost become redundant, at least in the minds of a new generation. Still close person-to-person contact can never be substituted by any other form of communication - this is what I want future generations to keep in mind.
