Good as a first step to alleviate the situation but not the solution. As stated in the video you linked, "Money as Debt" (pt. 4, 3:44): "If it is the fundamental nature of the system that causes the problems, tinkering with the system cannot ever solve those problems."

One of the solutions in the video suggests an elimination of usury and to control the feedback loop solely through taxes. I only suggest that the robin hood tax is the start of that process. As to the risk, morality, efficiency of such monetary reform I am still making my mind up on.
