From my point of view, the underlying reason why there is an ever-increasing tendency to create alternative currencies is the control of the state.


As our society evolved so fast in the past few hundred years, many of the principles that were useful or beneficial have seen a constant erosion. Considering the "connected" world we live in, i would call upon all entrepreneurs to start organizing "response cells" in the countries/cities/neighborhoods they live in.
