Dinner in 2020

Best-case scenario, most food is vegetarian and healthy with little meat to decrease methane production.  But realistically, I'm not sure it would be that much better from now.  With the level of obesity getting larger every year, I do not think we can have that juristic of a change in 10 years...See More

"Sorry to say this, but some people think we have already peaked fossil fuel oil and the problem is that we have already run out of cheap oil, now it can only get more expensive as it becomes more difficult to extract. I found this article…"

"I just realized, by creating a steam energy plant, you could use mirrors to direct the sunlight at a tube filled with watter, boiling it, and then use the steam to drive a turbine. I'm not sure what you could do with the energy though."

A better tomorrow.....

In my best-case scenario, 10 years from this day, I will wake up in the morning in a sustainable house, make of plants growing on a exoskeleton-like structure, as designed by Mitchell Joachim. I will ride a hybrid bike to school that charges a battery when coasting and allows you to use it when going up hill. I expect to work at a solar plant with solar panels at least 4 times as efficient as they are now. I will then go back to my house where I'll have dinner with my wife. We'll eat renewable… Continue

Innovate on existing platforms

Innovating on things that are already in Africa is one of the best tips around. Yeah, you might be able to ship a microscope there to look at the diseases that people have in their blood, but a simpler solution would be to create a microscope attachment for the camera on a phone that sends blood samples to health care professionals elsewhere in the world. public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.

Where I will be in ten years.

Ten years from now I will be in a political job assisting with people in the midlands of South Carolina particularly the rural working class and farmers. As the class of people that feed the nation I find that it is imperative that we assist with making sure they produce as much food as possible. I would like to support local scientists as well that are leading in research on how to produce food more efficiently. I will also be participating in missions to foreign countries to help people with…See More

India Water home

The secret was living on the water via boats common in many developing countries like Myanmar. This is a real Indian boat home made of wood and this provides a shelter for many peoples around the world.

pam-wollis-quilt

Charleston has an exhibit opening up with pieces of old african art and sculptures. Every piece of art, quilts and dolls, is beautiful and engaging in their own way… Many of them address the mermaids that followed the slave ships to return the souls…
