Home in time for dinner

"Ladies and Gentlemen, Japan Airlines International would like to thank you for choosing to fly with us on this happy occasion of your journey. Please remain in your seats with your seat-belts fashioned until the flight crew has turned off the 'Fasten Seatbelts' indicator."

The plane touched down on the runway L.A. Things were pretty quiet between us. They always were. We did our celebrating back in Tokyo, after we'd finished the job. Levannah smiled at me…

Feed the World, or - at Least Feed Somebody

from Genius, Power, Magic.

So, I'm "playing" this new game. It's called Evoke; and it isn't easy (click the title to go to the site). This blog post, or (more accurately) the actions it describes, will earn me one point in a Massive Multi-Player Online Game where players attempt to literally make the world a better place by…

Beyond the Bounds of Moderation

It is impossible to spend more than a few hours walking the streets of downtown Saint Augustine and not know about the excessive homeless population. It seemed, at first, that I would find no mention of the phenomenon that Food Security in St Augustine (or indeed the rest of North Florida),…

Someone kick me in the pants.

I come to this site - usually in the wee small hours of the morning - and I read some great (and not-so-great) blog posts and emails about changing the world - about actually making a difference in the course of human events. I feel pumped, excited, eager even to stretch out my own hand and rock the boat a little. To "be the change" myself.

And then it's time for sleep, or time for work, or what-have-you. It's so very easy for me to get excited about the prospect of these…

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Let's start with the chemical constituents of this plant:37 % Non-Nitrogen-Extracts19 - 29 % Ash9 - 21 % Fiber4 % Fat22 % ProteinOnce the leaves are drid, their protein content can reach an astounding 40 %, which is much higher than beef, which even under the best of circ***tances can never exceed 31 % protein. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.

Where I will be in ten years.

Ten years from now I will be in a political job assisting with people in the midlands of South Carolina particularly the rural working class and farmers. As the class of people that feed the nation I find that it is imperative that we assist with making sure they produce as much food as possible. I would like to support local scientists as well that are leading in research on how to produce food more efficiently. I will also be participating in missions to foreign countries to help people with…See More
