Christmas in 2020

In 2020, people all over the world will be celebrating Christmas. However, the problem is that we use up so much electricity to power all our decorations. We, the people of the world we live in, decide to convert our incandescent light bulbs into fluorescent light builbs so we could save electricity. Another way we are saving electricity on Christmas is that we would use and rely on tidal energy to power our homes. During the winter,… Continue

A Food Security Challenge in Rochester

In Rochester, New York many people have low-incomes. Because of this, they cannot support themselves or their families with food. Three low-income schools also have to deal with this problem. A project called Rochester Roots was granted $270,000 by the Community Fund Project. With this money, Rochester Roots aim to establish community gardens at those schools. By providing them gardens, the three schools wouldn't have to deal with food supply issues. Other than planting fruits and…

A Meal From the Future

In the year 2020, I will be in New York, and I will be eating with my parents and two brothers. We will be dining on foods such as all sorts of vegetables and fruits that will be grown in our little garden. My mom will be cooking potatoes that we can top with home grown brocolli or cheese that was in a packaging that could easily be recycled. For our drinks, we would have water that came from our water filter that was connected to our sink. By drinking from the filter, we wouldn't have to…

A New Way to Power a Wii Remote

Something that many of use almost everyday would be our Wii. However, in order to play with our Wiis, we have to have Wii Remotes. From past experience I learned this; If you are using batteries to power your remote, the power dies out easily. It can sometimes get frustating when this happens because you have to keep buying new batteries for your remotes, but I did happen to come up with a new solution to this problem. Instead of using batteries to power Wii Remotes, we can make the remotes…

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development.The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
