Mapping Crimes in Lima

During this week I've been meeting with some web developers in order to develop a mash up map where we can input locations where crimes occur. This came from a conversation where we shared how can we the citizens improve the security of Lima without requiring any authority to make an effort. Earthquake in Peru

Recently our neighbor country Chile suffered a devastating earthquake. I have many friends there and most of them lived near the epicenter of the quake. It was very difficult to try and find them and it felt horrible to not be able to help more. The risk of this happening in Peru is quite high too.
