I hate keeping diaries. I always have. Can never quite keep up. But reflection is good and insightful. Today is going to be a busy day...first I gotta get the kids ready and off to school. Heroes
Growing up my first hero was Christa McAuliffe, the first teacher in space. I remember as a 9-year old girl sitting in school and watching the Challenger launch and eventually explode. Don't do anything that can't reach a million people
Overwhelming and more difficult to deal with than the "one small step at a time". I used to think this way. But life can bring you down sometimes. Or let me say I've let life bring me down. I've been disillusioned and numb for a while. It's time to think big again and dream again. I've let others tell me what is impossible for too long.

Fourth of July on the Lake
This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development.The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The meal
It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal. I walk to the fridge and open it to see what there is for me to eat.
