I was sitting with a group of friends today, from all over Africa, and a debate began when somone mentioned that we were suffering becasue of the past.

Sitting at the table, enjoying a glass of wine while I sit with my family of 10 at a table. We are a multiracial family as most of my kids are adopted. They tell stories of their days at school while I share stories of people's struggles and their abilitie to rise above.
