Africa: The Reason We Will Never Prosper

I was sitting with a group of friends today, from all over Africa, and a debate began when somone mentioned that we were suffering becasue of the past.

May I say this; that satement is not false. In fact it is based on historic fact but that is the probelm, HISTORY! As Africans we are always so eager to blame colonisation and slavery for our plight but is it not time we stop blaming people and find solutions to move forward? So many people believe that because it was the west…

The Meal in a Pack

Sitting at the table, enjoying a glass of wine while I sit with my family of 10 at a table. We are a multiracial family as most of my kids are adopted. They tell stories of their days at school while I share stories of people's struggles and their abilitie to rise above. My wife prepared the meal for us and it is smoked chicken in a bed of brown rice with vegetables on the side. The meal comes pre-packaged and all she did was heat it in the oven. It is relatively common then for meals of big…

Feeding Africa's Hungry

Africa is one of the, if not the, most poverty striken continents in the world. South Africa, Africa's largest economy, is no different. Some cities here are bubbling metropolitan places that hide the reality behind a visage of tourism agendas. Travel to the edegs of these metros and a new world awaits. One that is the defenition of poverty and HIV/AIDS and death. The children there have nothing to eat although their parents travel to the city everyday to earn a meager wage. They go to…

Problems are real when you experience them

Anyone can sign a cheque. Anyone can send their regard but true empathy comes only from experience. To understand a problem, one needs to face it head on and find solutions then. Solutions must be practical and they are only partical once you have applied the solution in real situations. To be innovative you must first understand. to understand, you must first experience!

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development.The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
