New forms of using money: roadway community banking

For this task first I tried the easy ones (I'm being honest) and donate some bucks for sometostart or countinue their business, but then I realize that because I live in Mexico is really hard to donate through a site like Kive. Then I choose to buy something with paypal, but is the same issue: because I don't have an adress in the states is really hard for me to have an account.

So what did I do? well, as Alchimist recomended in the mission, I join forces with some of my friends to…

Ring ring money

After reading all the visions about the future of money I have to say that the one that seems to me is going to have the biggest impact in our economic systems is goin to be the electronic money, which we can transfer and make payments through our phones.

When paypal, twitpay and all the others get really connected, we are going to be able to go to a store only with our cell phone, send a twit to the store and voila everything is paid.

Our cell phone is going to…

Water Day 2020 - IMAGINE4

Ok. Ten years have passed since the day I was put in charge of planning Water Day Celebretion for 2020.

Through all those years I've been learning a lot about the water crisis that the world used to have. Now, thanks to social innovators, and the people that supported them, we have solutions to the water problem.

Africa, Latinamerica an South Asia now have a growing rate of access to clean and safe water. Everyday more and more people in those regions have a better quality of…

Helping ProNatura - ACT4

in Mexico we are not yet conscious about the water problem, maybe because we are sourrounded by water and have a lot of rivers and so; maybe because we suffered flods every year; or maybe because 88% of the population has access to safe water.

But people doesn't realize that every year more and more sectors in big cities (Mexico City and Monterrey) have shortages or cut downs every now and then through the week.

And Mexcio face another problem: the end of natural oasis…

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Let's start with the chemical constituents of this plant:37 % Non-Nitrogen-Extracts19 - 29 % Ash9 - 21 % Fiber4 % Fat22 % ProteinOnce the leaves are drid, their protein content can reach an astounding 40 %, which is much higher than beef, which even under the best of circ**stances can never exceed 31 % protein. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
