I was trying to show a potential player around evoke and was embarrassed to discover that this forum was not only overrun with spam for prescription drugs but that more than a page of spam posts had…Continue

Missions Still Uncompleted?

I know there was some server problems which caused a delay in some people's missions not appearing as completed in week 1, even when tagged correctly. However, we're well into week two and I still…Continue

RE: Sparks Lost; Evoke Burnout Disappointing but not Unexpected

For context see Stephano's post on agents loosing their spark and Wintermute's take regarding the panamerica event.

Sunlight, Fuel Cells, and a 2020 'Snow Day'

The mobile dings gently. I groan but don't bother to pick it up. There's no one on the other end. It's 6am and the solar panel complaining; it's rearing to get cracking at another day of work but its covered in snow. If it detects anything less than 70% efficiency I don't hear the end of it. Have you ever tried negotiating with a solar panel? Doesn't go over well. Concepts like "snooze" and "another 10 minutes" aren't in its API.

I pull on… Continue

Dinner in 2020

It's dinner time, although my body feels more like it should be getting ready for bed. The wh*** family is a bit jet lagged but happy to be back stateside for the first time in awhile. Being a digital nomads of the 1st order still means dealing with the body's traditional expectations of a geographically rooted life.

By now the guerrilla gardening and food punk movements in the US have gone from… Continue

Work Hard to Make it Simple

The facet of social innovation that stuck a chord with me is "Do the hard work needed to find a simple solution." While I believe the author intended this to mean avoid complex solutions (which are often times brittle and expensive) I interpret it slightly differently: simple solutions come from simple problems. The challenge is then to take a seemingly impossible problem and turn it into a series of simple… Continue

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Let's start with the chemical constituents of this plant:37 % Non-Nitrogen-Extracts19 - 29 % Ash9 - 21 % Fiber4 % Fat22 % ProteinOnce the leaves are drid, their protein content can reach an astounding 40 %, which is much higher than beef, which even under the best of circ***tances can never exceed 31 % protein. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.

Where I will be in ten years.

Ten years from now I will be in a political job assisting with people in the midlands of South Carolina particularly the rural working class and farmers. As the class of people that feed the nation I find that it is imperative that we assist with making sure they produce as much food as possible. I would like to support local scientists as well that are leading in research on how to produce food more efficiently. I will also be participating in missions to foreign countries to help people with…See More
