This idea is designed as a demonstration/ workshop in a large open space like a park. The basis of the demonstration is to model a metropolitan area, and cover certain areas of it in water to demonstrate the problems that climate change presents to many cities. A project that caught my attention is the DaVinci project that reroutes storm water runoff from roofs and parking lots, into cisterns and a 7,200 square foot water garden. This is particularly remarkable as it was designed and built by the students, teachers and parents of the school.…
