Social Innovation Act
I chose to follow Afrigadet. This website showcases individuals in Africa who are innovators and inspiring the people around them to acheive more and most importantly that its possible. I really like the story about the woman who started her own dress shop and was ultimately able to move herself out of the slum and into her own home. The reason why people stay where they are and don't attempt anything better or greater is because they are not aware of how their talents and abilities can be used. The work these people are doing provide great examples to others of what they can do. Some basic principles regarding how to sell a product or market their services be taught in the local education system. That way these basic principles would be known and more people would have the opportunity to use their skills and talents.

Innovation in Africa - Response
The piece of advice that stood out to me was to immerse yourself in the culture and observe those the people, how they do things and why they do it. I am reminded of the expeditions european explorers took to find a northern route to the east.
