India provides safe drinking water program in urban which is very helpful and it also adequte sanition facilities to families liveing in rural and urban comminties in five states Andhrah Pradesh, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Orissa, and Tamil Nadu. Water.org offers both grant and WaterCredit programs in India.

Urban projects are located in the slums of Tiruchirappali, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Delhi, and Indore.
