The story I choose to read is the one called "Stand up for Malala-Girls' Education is a right. It is about a young girl in Pakistan who was attacked by members of the Taliban because she was trying to get an education. The Taliban believe that girls and women should not be educated and confined at home. Malala wants an education because she sees it as a way to better herself. She is being restricted by the Taliban from achieving her life goals. Girls are less likely than boys to finish…

I believe in the future my community will be faced with water shortages. There are many different ways to broadcast the problems with water shortages. It can be done through television, radio, social networking sites, and through billboards. The message that will be communicated to the people of my community will be to preserve their water and do not use it for useless things like watering their lawn. Water is important for the survival of all humans and it can not be wasted on useless…

Imagine 8

The indigenous aspect of my region I am from that I would share would be how to fish. I feel like in the future people will quit fishing and start relying on markets to buy their fish. Also, I feel as though technology will start to affect the traditional ways of fishing. So I will pass on how to do everything from make a rod to stringing it up. I will then show how to find fishing hot spots so people can enjoy the outdoors and fish. Its not intended to be easy but I feel like in the future…

I would have a group of scientists tasked with find a cure to the pandemic flu. I would also have a staff of doctors to help anyone with the pandemic flu. They would provide medical care to people affected by the flu. Also, I would have a staff trying to get word out about our efforts to help anyone who is being affected by the pandemic flu. This staff would raise awareness on ways to prevent sickness and ideas that will help keep people healthy.

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development.The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
