A crash course in changing the world.
I am very much enjoying Evoke, not just for the enjoyment of the game, but also because much of that which interests and inspired Jane McGonigal also interests me. The potential social interaction between games and inspiration is just fascinating.

Ten years from now, I have no idea where I'll be....
I'm about a year from retirement from the USAF and not sure where that will take me which makes it very hard to map from there. I suppose, in a general sense, I expect to be well established in my second career and community. I'm sure I am not the first, but my choice for shadowing was Jane McGonigal herself. I didn't make the choice simply due to her role in creating this game, but in her groundbreaking and inspiring way she is using games in general to teach. I have followed the use of games in schools to teach various topics such as Finance or History or Social Responsibility, but never would have considered the power to use the same simple idea on a global level.
