OECD Factblog: http://scout.wisc.edu/Archives/SPT--FullRecord.php?ResourceId=27893

but they are now entering the blogosphere, albeit in their own erudite

fashion. Their "Factblog" brings together graphs, charts, and videos to

offer insightful commentary… Continue

Two more links for your perusal

First, a digital poster of the discretionary budget of the US. The circles are scaled, so that the 600 billion dollar Dept. of Defense budget is visibly much bigger than the meager 6 billion dollar Dept. of Ed. budget.

Second, we have a site that uses computer generated climate models to look at future trends as well as our impact on future trends. As they say at the opening…

This got me thinking... what if you could scale that idea back even further? A pedometer that generates electricty just by walking, through linear induction -- like a "shakey…

Thanks for the link to the journal! I wrote a blog on this already, called Using Plants as Allies. We're in the process of planting a wh*** beneficial insect garden that wraps around our veggie gardens to attract hoverflies, lady beetles, dragonflies, parasitic wasps, and ground beetles.

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

Where I will be in ten years.

Ten years from now I will be in a political job assisting with people in the midlands of South Carolina particularly the rural working class and farmers. As the class of people that feed the nation I find that it is imperative that we assist with making sure they produce as much food as possible. I would like to support local scientists as well that are leading in research on how to produce food more efficiently. I will also be participating in missions to foreign countries to help people with…See More
