I particularly like the section "risk = hazard + outrage". I had not thought of the process in those terms before, but now I am looking at the issues from a different angle. Thanks for the thought-provoking information.
While dealing with this topic I came across watching some of Peter Sandman's videos. I found it even more interesting and easier to understand than just reading about it. So here is one of the videos:
