Charleston Disaster Preparedness
I had no idea how comprehensive the city of Charleston's disaster relief plan was until I made an effort to research it. I am thoroughly impressed by how complex this plan is, and for how many contingencies it incorporates into it! The city of Charleston even has an emergency management department with four phases of emergency management.

I was thoroughly impressed with the simplicity of the Ushahidi software, I even downloaded it on my phone.

New Platform Use
I used PayPal for the first time today. I needed to order some clothing for a race that I'm participating in, so I decided, why not use PayPal? Ordering online without manually entering all of my credit card information is a hassle compared to how easy PayPal was to use. I will continue using it for further transactions in the future. Easy, accessible, user friendly.

Fourth of July on the Lake
This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal.
