By creating an application, “IEMERGENCY,” it is my conviction that the next pandemic flu can be avoided. “IEMERGENCY” will consist of a panel of voluntary doctors, local CVS retailers, consumers (with individual accounts) and select media outlets (although the media outlets will be more limited in coverage). To combat this next pandemic, IEMERGENCY will release an alert of the flu pandemic, reminding users to seek out the closest CVS offering flu shots. The app will allow users to sign up…

It is my conviction that the first secret to crisis communication, “Coming to terms with Uncertainty,” is most important for creating an empathetic front for dissemination of critical information. From a psychological standpoint, I feel that this very premise highlights the principle that, “fear of the unknown brings people anxiety,” articulating how the first, critical component of communication involves “understanding conflicting and uncertain information.”: Overall, the hallmark of this…

At the age of 100, it is my conviction that fishing with a standard rod-and-reel will be a sort of “indigenous knowledge.” I will want to share with my future family how one is capable of catching a fish with nothing more than a rod and reel is a possible and fun way to interact with one’s environment. I feel that this message is not only urgent for my family, but moreover, urgent for the world at large, as the ability to fish would allow millions to feed themselves, relieving the dependency…

“Community Based Natural Resource Management (CBNRM) for Capacity Building in Southern Africa”

Funded by the “World Wildlife Fund,” this project serves as the touchstone for which National organizations can empower local, African fisheries to understand the economic advantages of conservation and capacity building. In effect, this project commends then indigenous knowledge of native African fisherman, encouraging them to take an active stance in protecting their cash-crop via the…

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development.The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
