In a best case future scenario in 2020, I would be in living in an apartment in New York City studying at Columbia University. For social good, I would be doing volunteer work and donating to charity. When Alchemy calls for me to help, I would respond immediately. That secret was "Try living for a week on $2 a day". I found that secret the most striking because it showed that for innovation to work, solutions must be able to reach all people, including people who live on $2 or less a day. This…

I found that secret the most striking because it showed that for innovation to work, solutions must be able to reach all people, including people who live on $2 or less a day. This secret could help anyone, including me, change the world because innovations that are too expensive to reach those people would create little to no social change to people with that amount of money. This secret also helps one put themselves in the perspective of someone who makes and lives on $2 or less a day, and realize that solutions to probelms should be both inexpensive and effective, taking into account the limited resources available. For those reasons, I believe the secret of "Try living for a week on $2 a day" was the most important secret shown.
A Secret of Social Innovationtag:www.urgentevoke.com,2012-10-31:4871302:BlogPost:2430612012-10-31T16:49:32.000ZKevin the Helplesshttp://www.urgentevoke.com/profile/KevintheHelpless
