To my dear friend Stefano

Over the past couple weeks may of you have come to know Stefano Ceiri as a thought provoking, eager and kind EVOKE agent. While following the torrents of posts on blogs like WHATS GOING ON?? & Agents losing their sparks, I noticed that Stefano mentioned that the recent panamericana fiasco has caused him to have doubts about EVOKE. It made me sad that Stefano might leave so I wrote him a message.

I decided to post the message… Continue

Energy from Salt and Sweet water

After some research I've come to believe that we have to use the power of 70% of our planet: sea water.

With sea water there are several interesting possibilities.

First: Power from currents

As long as the moon and the earth will move around the sun we will have tides and the associated currents. The power of the currents can be transfered into mechanical movements which can then drive dynamos to create energy.…

New Energy Source

Going off of some of the newer exercise equipment in the marketplace, I would design shoes that could store up energy from running.

This energy could be used to power something as simple as the iPod that

the person running uses. Building

off of this idea, I would design a gym that stores up power from all the

exercises that people are doing. I

know that there are…

It slices, it dices, it uses renewable energy to run wireless communication and water purification hardware!

So I wanted to find this article I remember reading about a shipping container sized machine someone had developed that contained solar panels, a small wind turbine, and even a biomass generator. The idea was that you could put this thing down in an area and just crank out power, but unfortunately I can't seem to find it anywhere.

What I did find was something similar, perhaps even better! This company Ecosphere has created another shipping container sized device which acts as both a… Continue

THE POWER OF CHANGE!!!

CHANGE!!!

We talk a lot about change, but where does the power to change come from? I can tell you this, it is not from your mind. Your mind only knows what it has been conditioned to believe. In order to make permanent and lasting change, you must know the source of your true power.

You must know, not just believe, that you are a source energy in a physical body and that the source energy part of you remains in…

Sharing is caring!

The is saying in persion which says:

"It wont be spring with only one flower!".

I actually like this quote because the more you share you idea and knowledge, the more people are going to learn, use, develop it and share it with others and the chance of that your ideag/dream becomes true increase as you share it with others. When you share you knowledge or idea, you will get feedback and like this you can develop and update it even more.

The Year of the Rat

25th January 2020

Today is the first day of the Lunar Calendar. That makes it the first day of the Chinese New Year celebrations, and because today also happens to be a Saturday, the streets of Chinatown are full with people. It's a special year for me, because today is also the first year of the 12 year cycle, the Year of the Rat. I happen to be a Rat in the Chinese zodiac; this is my year.

Today's celebrations don't look so different from the celebrations ten years ago. The… Continue

Getting started.

Fascinated by EVOKE. Can this be used to build community in a local environment, too? Mission: provide teenage girls with the skills to navigate adolescence. Some of those skills: mindfulness techniques, self-defense, and adventure skills. Why?

a) Life is full of challenges. Own yourself.

b) Life is full of challenges. Be prepared.

c) Life is full of challenges. Have fun!

I'm inspired by these techniques mentioned in the first mission:

1. Constraint of… Continue

World Water Day 2020

Two "housekeeping items"

1. I mislabeled my last post SBT!

2. I realize that tensions have been a bit high on this site lately, so I want everyone to understand that my next question is all in fun, but...

How the heck do I go about organizing a TOP SECRET event? Does one not cancel out the other?

To continue...

In the months before March 24, 2020, strange videos will begin showing up on Youtube and other sites. Certain…

Not just an innovator, a hero

At least in my eyes. I mean, sexual education is something that touches close to my heart. My beloved uncle, perhaps not of any blood relation but still close, passed away two years ago from the AIDS virus. He was not a man who slept around, he didn't sleep with prostitutes or crack whores. he was just uneducated. He contracted the disease before I was born, in the early 90s. He didn't know the dangers. He was a poor kid, growing up in a government housing project. He went to the worst school,… Continue

Water Day 2020 - IMAGINE4

Ok. Ten years have passed since the day I was put in charge of planning Water Day Celebretion for 2020.

Through all those years I've been learning a lot about the water crisis that the world used to have. Now, thanks to social innovators, and the people that supported them, we have solutions to the water problem.

Africa, Latinamerica an South Asia now have a growing rate of access to clean and safe water. Everyday more and more people in those regions have a better quality of…

Food Security

In the future, the over-processed foods that are so common in America today should be scarce. There should be more of a focus on where our food comes from. Nutrition should also be more important. Americans today have to take supplemental vitamins because we don't get as many vitamins and nutrients from our food as we should. More foods in the future should be made from natural and organic fruits and vegetables, free of pesticides and potentially harmful chemicals. Our protein sources should be… Continue

Do the hard work needed to find a simple solution

As Leonardo da Vinci said, “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication”— This is exactly what we do each day using IT, we are always trying to simplify every process, by centralizing information, understanding it, getting the context and being creative about all these informations and then building solutions that will simplify our… Continue

I decided to follow Cleantech Blog, http://www.cleantechblog.com/, because I believe that the most important issue facing the world today is a shift from a wasteful system which produces global warming and other harmful effects to a sustainable, clean system which combats global warming. If this shift is not made, no other change - no matter how morally righteous - will succeed because the harmful effects which will be caused by runaway global warming… Continue

"Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication"

I think simplicity is the most important of all the goals on the list to focus on because it is a way to accomplish so many goals by focusing on a single idea.

Simplicity means innovating on existing platforms because it's simpler to improve what's already there than to bring in new tech.

Simplicity creates transparent tech - if it's simple, it should be easy to…

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Let's start with the chemical constituents of this plant:37 % Non-Nitrogen-Extracts19 - 29 % Ash9 - 21 % Fiber4 % Fat22 % ProteinOnce the leaves are drid, their protein content can reach an astounding 40 %, which is much higher than beef, which even under the best of circ**stances can never exceed 31 % protein. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

I walk to the fridge and open it to see what there is for me to eat. All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
