I have so many heroes, real and avatar, who have had so profound an effect on Evoke Season 1; and so little time remains for acknowledging them all.
and Please also see a.v.koshy's efforts at listing heroes as well, at http://www.urgentevoke.com/profiles/blogs/my-top-evokers-not-in-any?xg_source=activity…

Its amazing how a species has claimed to evolve w/o showing evidence of evolving as a wh***. Women's rights should be respected in their entirety. Women are the vesels of life and without them there is no hope for survival.
Although I was unable to donate, I did share some stories I read about empowering women in the world.

A.V.Koshy, extraordinary contributor, commentor, and rebel on Evoke Season 1 is a tireless and insightful hero. Choosing from among his 161 blog posts, 20 discussions, 21 photos, and 5 videos (among these ony 82 remain; there were so many more) is an almost impossible task. A loyal friend and supporter of many on and off evoke, koshy is a master network builder, colleague, and independent…

WATER CRISIS - In 2020, I like the idea of hundreds of windows, dressed up to
look like rivers & waterfalls. Salmon jumping, fish swimming and of course families fishing, drinking and cooking near the river.

POWER SHIFT - We make many of the things we used to purchase. So we're recycling the
containers we do need to buy and reducing overall purchases. This takes some team work, and helps us develop our relationship with each other in the process. Our biggest change as far as power use is concerned is
the back up kerosene heater we started using last year. O.K. not so amazing but it's off the grid :)

Amazing collaborative Evoke agents Patricio Buenrostro-Gilhuys and Nick Heyming are doing so much to restore bio-diversity, sustainable gardening and resilient, collaborative communities through their work on and outside Evoke that they are epic heroes to me. Despite Patricio's work and broken arm, and Nick's…

Evoke has been an interesting experience indeed. I'm sure Season 2 will be even more fun after the feedback the other evoke agents have suggested. I know that for one thing, actual gaming type of gameplay would be nice. Kind of like how you would go on facebook and play the facebook games like farmville. Things that help make it more interesting. By incorporating the ideas of evoke into the game objectives.
A perfect example is a game online called Ayiti- The Cost of Life ,…

My hometown of Oakland California has always had a lot of homegrown solutions. We're practically notorious for it, and if you know what I'm talking about then there you are, and if you don't, I'm not going to link to it because the less said about our more infamous moments, the better.
I will say that we've grown up a huge number of charter schools (some good, some not so) and back a couple of decades ago we grew up the historic peace-making agreement between the Blood and Crip gangs,…

One of the great schisms of US politics is referred to as the "Pro Choice / Pro Life" divide.
There's a lot of verbal jockeying from both sides to use different words and reframe the issue in more sympathetic ways. People who believe that all human life deserves government protection, even before birth, want to cast the other side as being "Anti Life." And people who believe that women should have the right to choose what happens to their own bodies, even if that means making a choice to…
