I found that 'managing panic in a pandemic' was the most prevalent insight within the 'five secrets of Crisis Communication' and in particular the idea that public trust is a big issue. I feel these factors are very important as one of the worst things to happen in a crisis is wide spread panic as it can force people to act in an irrational manner which may lead to unecessary violence.
