Act-4: Make an alliance with a water visionary.
So, for this post I need to make an alliance with a water visionary. I already know which group should I make an alliance with. This is the website that I will make an alliance with: http://www.ncsafewater.org/. I will help them by spread an information about what's happening and what's this group going to do to prevent bad thing to happen. If my plan doesn't work by telling people one by one about what's my group doing to prevent bad thing, I think…

Water Crisis
My inspiring water project is Water For People. Their main mission is to treat people equally and giving them clean and save water. It says on their website that "Everyone should have improved water Forever. And we want to help them in reaching their goal, for every family, every clinic, and every school religious and districts where we work." Where I was watching water for people there's this guy who really inspire me. Ned Breslin, he is the CEO of water for people, he made a water pump…

DaVinci Living Water Garden
Together with Urban Water Works, DaVinci Arts Middle School initiated a program which aims to educate students and citizens about storm water runoff and water quality. The DaVinci project reroutes storm water runoff from roofs and parking lots, into cisterns and a 7,200 square foot water garden, and was designed and built by the students, teachers and parents of this school. The system includes a system of cisterns, pond, constructed wetland, and bioremediation swale that collects, cleans…

Water crisis_04_Act
Every German uses about 162 litre of water during the day. That means depicted a filled bathtub. One single toilet flush in the industrialised countries consumes as much water as one person in a developing country has at his/her disposal for washing, drinking and cooking per day. So this facts put me in a refelctive mood. One way of responding to this could be the use of special water-saving toilets and showers, repair of seals and use of rainwater could be only some small improvements.…

Water crisis_04_Imagine
If I have to imagine about 'Happy World Water Day 2020' I see a big event around the globe. I would like to suggest that similar activities are happening at the same day to the same time on every continent. That means at least 7 and not exceeding 14 events (=2 for one continent).
First of all famous people are needed who support this event. At all locations there would be a big concert which is free of cost for everyone. Participants need only to take over a…

Collecting Rainwater on a Finca in Spain
More than 16 years ago my uncle emigrated to Spain. He is now living on a big finca (estate/ parcel of land) together with his family, friends and animals. They are trying to find a harmonic way of living in nature. When I read this week's mission, I instantly thought of Jochen, a friend of my uncle who is living on this "farm" since a few years. Last year he had the idea of creating a system of hollows where he wants to save rainwater. With the collected water they want to supply the…

water
Water.org Projects has a very effective way of approach this problem. They dont only choose to help out much needed areas by simply providing them with clean water, but also educate the residence in the certain area about how to keep water clean and how to properly operate the water systems. Educating people is always one of the most effective steps to solving problems like these.

That was a great idea on using a play pump to get water. Another idea is to collect water when it rains or filter water from the ocean.
