Two Dollars a Day

For this mission, I chose "Live on 2 dollars a day" I think the statement is outstanding to changing to viewpoint of others. This secret can help me change the world because it gives me an exercise in empathy. When I live like this, I know the pain others go through. It be impossible in my life to go to college, get food, or anything on two dollars a day. After trying this I can spread my challenges to those across the world and advocate for change.

Water Day

In 2020 I will make a giant sink in the middle of Atlanta. It will slowly be dripping water and it will attract attention of hundreds. It will be a fundraiser. With every 1,000 dollars donated to the sink it will stop dripping a little bit. People will donate because there will be an plaque educating them about how much water a dripping faucet can waste. We won't really be wasting any water, but it will make them see how much they need to pitch in and help. Eventually the sink will stop…

Flash Mob Water Balloon Fight!

World Water Day 2020 Secret Event-

The plan is simple, but will take countless individuals to pull off.

On World Water Day 2020, groups of supports will come together in an organized manner to attempt a flash mob event.

Flash mobs are those crazy groups of people we see on the news or youtube.com that break out into dance in downtown New York or all freeze at once, as if time stood still.

How I spent my Canada Day 2020... Sounds a bit kindergarten-ish :)

Hmm, these future-y ideas seem kind of funny to me. It just sounds like those essays entitled "How I spent my summer vacations", y'know, the one's that we did in first grade. Granted, I could use a vocabulary greater than that of a first grader's.
So, I really want to throw an awesome Canada Day in 2020. For those that don't know, Canada Day takes place on July 1st, every year since 1867. People tend to be pretty patriotic about…

World Water Day- Water Crisis

On World Water Day, everyone should save water in any way they can, and set a goal limit for how much they use in one day. This includes shorter showers, and turning the faucet off every spare moment when one doesn't need it. That's a small thing everyone should do. Another thing people could do is to all donate perhaps a few water bottles to a charity, and all the gathered water would be shipped to other places in the world, and be used to last some time for the people who lack sanitation.… Continue

Celebrate Water with Ebb and Flow

World Water Day. A celebration of water. A celebration of life. For without water there can be no life. The celebration must flow like water but also affect the mind. It must have the ability to be calm but then raging the next. To show people how important it is through its absence and then the beauty it can provide through its bountifulness.

A week prior to the event, water shipments stop. All those…

World Water Day 2020

My idea for a spectacular World Water Day 2020 is to bring together various events under one umbrella focused for one day. Different charities and regions host their own World Water Day Event but use the collective good will to raise awareness.

These include various ideas like:

  • Carry5's Walk for Water
  • Biking, walking riding or giving up birthday presents for mycharity:water
  • World's largest toilet queue
  • ?

In 2009, the World Water…

World H2O Day 2010!

Well, the day is almost over in Sweden now...but today was WORLD WATER DAY, so I hope everyone celebrated by not buying bottled water! Actually, I hope that you buy bottled water as little as possible- especially if you're in a country where you don't need it. Canada and Sweden's water is just as clean from the taps. And it's FREE. So don't forget that, and don't take it for granted!…

Wind Day

in 2010 me and my friends will be celebrating WindDay. It's a new official holiday that celebrates when Wind energy officially met 100% of America's energy needs. On this day everyone flies kits. It is customary to build your own, but you don't have to. Think how beautiful it will be when hundreds no thousands of kits are in the sky, flown by all ages of people who are celebrating the joys of the wind. On TV news casters talk about emerging wind technology, they have educational segments which… Continue

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
