Secret: Innovate on existing platforms (We’ve got bicycles and mobile phones in Africa, plus lots of metal to weld. Innovate using that stuff, rather than bringing in completely new tech.)
I confirm this secret because I am reminded of the saying ‘ give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, but teach a man to fish and you feed him for life’. We don't have to bring the new technologies to Africa, we should teach them to help them sustainable.
