Understanding Knowledge as Social Innovation

I put this note on the comments site after reading about Social Innovation -

Sometimes it's more difficult to move from the things of social innovation to the why and how, we must appreciate that not all things can be solved with things, but with knowledge #LEARN1

While it is true that in a lot of places the things make a big difference, but empowering people with knowledge and education truly frees the oppressed, it brings meaning and value to the shamed, and it opens door…

Power Shift - Imagine

In 2020, I am having a barbecue behing my house with my family and it's on the afternoon. I am going to use the solar cooker for cooking the meat and everything. The solar cooker uses the sun and that's why I can only use it when it's in the afternoon, at night I can't cook anything, but the bad thing about solar cooker is that it would take twice longer time than cooking with the normal barbecue grill.

Sing a Song for Power

My energy idea is to be able to produce energy from your voice. If you sing into the energy microphone(which I would make) then you could generate you own power for the day. One song a day is all you would need. The vibrations/sound waves may be able to make some sort of energy. It is a fun and interesting way of making energy and I would like to put it in action someday.

Alexandre Marciel - Creating Energy with every Footstep

This week I would like to introduce you to Alexandre Marciel. He is the deputy mayor of Toulouse in France. He thinks that a city can not only consume electricity. In fact Marciel thinks that a city is able to produce energy with the aid of the people who live there. His idea is to use the kinetic energy of thousands of pedestrians who walk through the streets of Toulouse every day. His project "Trott Elec" is inspired by a club in Holland where the dancers produce the power for the lighting…

Lets Just Go Nuclear...

There are too many fields of innovation for energy on the horizon. I could cover the use of biofuels created by captured carbon that is then burned to create more carbon in a cycle using the sun as energy. Perhaps nuclear fusion is on the horizon. Perhaps we should use something we have had for decades.

Nuclear power! What is wrong with nuclear energy? Why is it feared? Why does France use it so happily?

This largely has to do with a public perception of nuclear…

Sustainable Energy, Sustainable Economy, Sustainable Society

Jacque Fresco developed The Venus Project which is a model of a sustainable society free from the constraints of the monetary system and where everything is available

in abundance, including energy from sustainable alternative sources.

He has developed technologies that harness the energy from volcanos

and is a supporter and innovator of developments in wind, wave,

tidal, and solar energy. sutainable energy, we can work all we want

Power shift Act

I think of those old movies where the genius kid set up his computer but he powered it by making his hampster run on that wheel. Then I hought of gyms thousands of people go to the gym daily and run on treadmills why cant we take all that energy and use it to power the wh*** building? I dont know how but there should be a way.

Why People Should Get Spinning Rims On Their Cars - ACT3

Just throwing a random idea out there. We can be more efficient in powering our vehicles. I know many will post blogs about adding efficiency to vehicles, but I'm sure that not too many people have thought of this:
Imagine the spinners on your car powering your car. When a car stops, the rims on a car with spinners will continue spinning, because of the momentum of the rims. Fortunately, that momentum of the rims can be used for energy. Little turbines on each wheel can generate energy from…

Future of Currency

The experiment that I believe will have the greatest impact on the future is the concept of Micro-Loans. The largest purveyor of these loans is Kiva.org. The idea behind micro-loans is small loans, even as small as $25 to help fledgling businesses that can't get loans anywhere else either because of their location, business, the amount they want to borrow, or a host of other reasons. All businesses need loans for various reasons. Some just to buy more products to sell. This allows many…See More
