Paradigm shift.

Probably you already know a lot of this stuff, but it is all new for

me... I've been watching a lot of doc**entaries and reading a lot of

orientation guides lately about the monetary system and changes we can do to make everything better in this world, probably not for us

but for our children and their children.

Corruption, scarcity, competition, crime and wars among others, are

creations of the monetary system. There will be humans in the future

that look to the… Continue

Making cities better - by playing with them

My hero is Augusto Pirovano, CEO of CriticalCity. At 27 (he is now 30) he began to wonder what would happen if we could a play so big that it could encompass our wh*** lives. He lives in Milano, Italy, a business capital plagued by pollution, social tensions, and more than its fair share of corruption. He thought that, if people could perceive their cities as playgrounds, they might live out their cities in a more lighthearted way, and think of things… Continue

Visualising a Smarter City

A few minutes ago I came across the following from my tumblr stream. IBM have for some time been running the smarter planet series (http://asmarterplanet.com) and as part of that smarter cities. The following is directly cribbed from their site but I thought it might be of some interest as a resource for our EVOKE community:…
