Saving money or changing the future of money is very difficult today. Therefore, i have looked back on the past and reminded me of the good change network. The manufacturer needed milk from the farmer and the farmer changed it with a sickle, which he needed for the high grass. Why didn't we follow our past? I have investigated in the internet and find one very good change network, named "Lets" in Munich. …

Organizing first responder family’s to provide peace of mind for first repsonders

Since responders can lose focus on their jobs when a disaster threatens their own families, why aren't dependent-preparedness

programs more common?

Emergency Site for the Oil Spill

For the last few months I have been involved with Crisis Commons, the CrisisWiki team and Crisis Camps all over the world to help create this network of dark sites ready to go live as needed. Within 24 hours of most disasters we are able to get a detailed resource site up and shared.

Here's one example of a recent site that went live:…

Journalist network during a flu pandemic - Imagine 9

I would create a german journalist network where all journalists involved in the pandemic reporting could log in and exchange their information with their colleagues. This network would also offer Q&A to the normal public where journalists could share their wisdom.

Through being in touch with the public the journalists could raise their awareness through their daily action and could act more responsible with their information and their news.

How to be heard on the internet!

I've been making significant progress on getting our messages out to the world and wanted to share some of the things I'm doing with the community so they might be able to help and/or use some of these techniques on their own.

First I've created a social network for current events, including about 1/2 of the blogs and %75 of the site dedicated to alternative energy and other issues I've begun learning about here on Evoke. I've made it easy to find and… Continue

Become a News Aggregator in your Social Network

In today's world of social networks, portal sites, and personal home pages, there is a WEALTH of news and information. In fact there's almost too much to process coherently. I'm writing this blog to express

an idea you may or may not have thought of, and to show you how I've

built some tools that can help you realize the importance of being a

News Aggregator in your Social Network.

I have recently made an effort to use and understand social networks such as…

Global Network for Neighborhood Energy Self-sufficiency Teams

There many ways to save energy, generate it more cheaply, and use renewable sources. How I would do it is focus on adding much more insulation to my house, switching over to heating, cooling, and hot water heating with geothermal energy from below my house, and telecommuting rather than taking the commuter train. Many people should be doing similarly, and we would save a huge percentage of our energy.

Helping my neighbors do the same kind of things will help me as well, because then we… Continue

Recycle cycle

In my home town there is a Small Community run organization, known as "Recycle Cycles" There, they take what some would consider a "scraped Bikes" a "Junked, useless, Bicycle" Refurbish them new seats ,tires, gears and cogs scavenged from other bikes, and sell them at a low cost, therefore allowing many people to get to work, available food sources, and recreation. I feel that a place like this is all about networking, people meeting people to connect and grow, spreading… Continue

Shopping Day, 2020

It's March 10th, 2020; more importantly, it's Tuesday.

Tuesday is shopping day, and like other residents of my neighbourhood I use my computer or mobile device to access the website of our neighbourhood's co-operative online grocery store. We usually wouldn't order anything through the internet - there's really no alternative to touching the vegetables to see if they're fresh and to checking the expiry dates on milk products to make sure that you don't get swindled. But this…

2020 / Daily routine - food crisis problem - design thinking

Amazing, I can now recall, that we met exactly 10 years ago, soon after we have started a FuturoTok, a think tank of 3 passionate people with a deep wish for a better future, with a strong sense of belonging to much bigger process happening, listening to the voice inside. We wanted to create a network of authentic leaders, hold (un)conferences and…

Strategy for making an urban farmers network a reality - feedback needed!!!

There has been a lot of interest discussion about urban farms. Inspired by Patricio's NEXT STEP post (http://www.urgentevoke.com/profiles/blogs/next-step-community-urban-1)

I thought in a way to start doing a network of urban farmers that could grow exponentially. I think the key success is to make a flexible structure were all the members of the network keep it going and just a few people… Continue

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Let's start with the chemical constituents of this plant:37 % Non-Nitrogen-Extracts19 - 29 % Ash9 - 21 % Fiber4 % Fat22 % ProteinOnce the leaves are drid, their protein content can reach an astounding 40 %, which is much higher than beef, which even under the best of circ**stances can never exceed 31 % protein. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
