A crash course in changing the world.

IMAGINE10

We live in a speedy pressurized world. A world where no one has time to stop and think about what is really going on, let alone fix it. Rather than constantly trying to keep up with news from the media, perhaps it is time to take action ourselves. It only takes one person to make a difference but imagine what all of us could do. Urgent Evoke has given us the light to lead us down the path to change.

I think that we should focus on actually implementing these ideas in our communities. Urgent Evoke is great but it is all idea. No one is actually going into the world and fixing the problems at large.

Another Mission I think we should focus on is poverty. At least start within our own country and build out to the rest of the world.

IMAGINE9

I rounded up a group of high school and college students who are hungry to make a difference. They have made a campaign and raised enough money to cure everyone in our area who has the flu. They have put in so much time and effort to make this happen.

I thought managing a panic in a pandemic was extremely eye-opening. Apparently, people don't listen to anyone when they are in a panic. Not even the government. In my opinion, if you have nothing to work with or no one to turn to, you listen to authority. I believe when the government pushes out the message, the public should listen to it. I think if we all focus on managing panic in a pandemic we can overcome a horrible situation.

IMAGINE8

The world will not survive without our young ones. Look at the difference they could make. They are our future. We are one people and we need to act like it. Yes, we need technology. Yes, we need progress. However, we need to remember that we can't do anything without our planet. We HAVE to take care of it.

IMAGINE7

I am from Pinellas County, Florida. Pinellas County is one of the smallest counties in Florida, yet it is the most populated. It is near the gulf coast and becoming more and more urbanized over the years. Buildings, cities, vehicles, boats, and people are continuously poisoning the air.

By the year 2050, a campaign will have been made to make its residents more willing to change. Hybrids and environmentally safe campaigns will have changed our county at least a little, but enough to…

LEARN7- Air Pollution

Air pollution is crucial, and although it may be getting better statistically, it is not improving fast enough. In Florida, drivers have no problem polluting the air and buying diesel vehicles. Global warming will take center stage if we do not work on improving this. I think there needs to be more advertisement and campaigns working towards improving air pollution. This is the air we breathe, it is not to be taken lightly.

IMAGINE6

Gender inequality was real life back in 2014. During this time , the country ranked 96th out of 148 in the 2013 Human Development Report's Gender Inequality Index. Often girls did not finish their formal education, being forced to drop out or miss school days to care for siblings or work to provide income for the family.

The global program to provide higher education for the women in Cambodia has helped women to become more independent and decrease disparity in the country. One young…

LEARN6- Contraceptive Programs for Women

WHO is launching a new guidance on how to provide contraceptive protection for women in honor of national women’s day (March 8.) Research has estimated that 222 million girls who do not want to get pregnant are not using any method of contraception because of access and planning. The plan will provide guidance and accurate information to a variety of services for women. Other measures consist of sex education programs for young people.

LEARN5- Bitcoins

I think the world should get out of the pattern of paper money. Bitcoins are a centralized digital currency. They are digital coins that you can send via the internet from person to person. There is no need for banks. Anybody from country to country could use this global market. If not Bitcoins, I believe that digital currency is a new innovation that will make the world move along with technology.

IMAGINE4- Conserving For Water

In the year 2020, I am going to make a change. I will promote a worldwide event of water conservation by asking people to fast on their water for three days. Each person should limit themselves to one gallon of water a day. I know that it is important for people to drink a lot of water in a day, so this gallon should mostly be use for drinking. We will save billions of gallons a water per day. News channels will post research on how much water the world has saved in only three days from…

ACT4- Helping Conserve Water

I do not have a lot of time to volunteer time with a water visionary team, however I believe that conserving water is an extreme issue that people need to work on and I want to help. The Gainesville Clean Water Partnership is a cooperative partnership between the City of Gainesville, Alachua County, and the Florida Department of Transportation dedicated to working with the Gainesville community for healthy waterways.I have followed them on Facebook and shared their information tips and…

ACT3- My Sustainable Laptop

People everywhere use computers and laptops today. Grandparents, children, students, teachers, business people, and families use so much energy every day with these little gadgets. We can not even wrap our head around the how much energy is wasted from this technology. Apple better watchout, because our company, Planet, is creating a laptop that runs completely on renewable energy. Solar powered laptops. They are going to be our future. The new thing. They will be top on the market.

LEARN3- Renewable energy projects

Have you heard of Google Green? Google has been working on a project to create renewable energy and power their wh*** company with 100% renewable energy. Google does not only see this project as a way to help the environment, but they also see it as a business strategy. They believe that it will accelerate the company's development. If you ask me, Google is extremely successful. Other companies should take note of this and try their technique and create a better future for…

Act2- Start a Garden

My roommate/ best friend eats out ALL the time. The only time she ever eats at home, she eats junk food. When I think about helping someone in regards to food security, I think of her. I want her to eat more wh*** foods and take care of her body. But, I want her to have fun doing it. That being said, I went to the wh*** foods store and bought some herb seeds and some potting soil. (I already had beginner potting plots at my house.) I ensured her of the positives of growing your own food from…

IMAGINE2- What are you eating for dinner?

It is the year 2020 and I am in Africa sitting in the middle of a circle of young African children. Me and other members of my organization have brought wh*** foods from the US to share and teach about. It is breakfast and we are eating oatmeal. We have brought tons of food to last the children all week. Starting small but trying to make difference. We are also eating fresh fruit. It is sweet and satisfying and all I can think about is how these children have been starving for so long.

IMAGINE1- Where I will be in 2020

In 2020 I will be working for a company such as the American Cancer Society as a Communications Director. I will be working my way to the top of the company. I will also have my own event planning company serving weddings and parties. When the Alchemy calls me, I will be ready. I will be changing the world through communications and technology. I will have a lot of experiences under my belt to help with the food crisis.

LEARN1- Favorite Design in Africa Secret

My favorite secret of becoming a social innovator was stated by Ethan Zuckerman. He said that what you have is more important than what you lack. By utilizing this secret, I will not dwell on the impossible. I can change the world by what I have in front of me. It is all about optimism. The characteristics I have will help me change the world and make a difference. Not the characteristics that I do not. It is all about working with what you got.

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
