Since we don´t really have "local" knowledge here In Lanús, I might as well pass on the knowledge of the wisdom of Monty Python:
might as well share the version of "bright side of life" by Monty Python, sung by Art Garfunkle.

We could create an emergency plan developer powered via wikimedia:
http://www.institutosap.com.ar/wiki/index.php/EmergenciasThat way, people could easily get involved both with the composition of the plan and having access to the knowledge.

We managed to clean the Riachuelo, and to turn it into a global attraction by creating canals that go under the street. This has created a huge aqueduct that has allowed cities to obtain cleaner and better means of transportation.

We have created a special deal to empower woman in the Institute that I work in.
We now offer some free cla**** for those that are in need (or we give them BIG discounts) or benefitial payment methods!
By studying the work of Yunus, I´ve learned that what´s given for "free" is not that well taken care of.

A bunch of people I know are trying to "buy" a polluted river near my house, that´s been like that for many decades. They´ve come up with a plan to clean it, use it to improve urban transportation, better everyone´s health, create many jobs, all under the structure of a cooperative (so that nobody does strictly this as a job).
That would be the perfect way to guarantee that it would be cleaned and kept clean.

Near where I live, there´s a river that´s extremely polluted. I thought that we could dress up as monsters from the swamp, mutants and thinks like that. And have a picnic near it and "terrorize" people walking around.

I happen to be a web designer (among other things). This week I was able to trade a simple design for the right to use a Gesell Chamber (kind of a meeting room) once a month.
Now we have a great place to have important meetings for our EVOKATION.

I was born on december 24th, so I happen to celebrate both christmas and my birthday.
We´ve decided to stop wasting light in meaningless decoration, instead, we´ve created solar pads in decorative designs, so people can decorate their homes with clean energy and, at the same time, get a little extra energy for charging their homes.

The girls we helped were able to become great women of influence. Now, they are replicating our model, funding similar projects and teaching their kids how to aid those in need.

During a food a pandemic, I would trust cooks to fix special meals containing those nutrients than can boost chances of overcoming the ordeal. They can easily develop creative ways (and easy) to help families.
Also, they can fix a special meal delivery service taking all necesary protections, to avoid people frome leaving home in unnecesary.

First of all, EVOKE should get translated to other languages. Many people out there can really benefit from interacting with the site. I admit that it may represent a challenge to find base material to fit everyone. But at least, you could translate the interface. That would really help to motivate many people.
Try South America, we have some massive on-line activity and many people who just "need a push".
I would specially encourage teenagers to play, or to offer some kind of…

Reactions and Overreactions"The knee-jerk reaction of overreacting early to a potential crisis is
extremely useful. Like other knee-jerk reflexes, it protects us. People
who have gone through it come out on the other side calmer and better
able to cope. People become able to cope with a crisis by going through
an…

http://srdis.ciesin.org/cases/ecuador-007.htmlEven though this is quite a small project, I do believe they enclose the seed to something big.
By providing the means to local farmers to develop a healthier explotation of the Earth they´ve managed both to improve the lives of those who were causing harm and avoiding them to continue doing so.
Sometimes it´s not much more complex than that. Most people just to…

We have some serious insecurity issues here in Argentina. We may be able to stop some of the crime wave by providing a quick mean to point being commited or that has been commited. Also, it may work as a good way to protect people who may have seen or are seeing a crime and they can share information in a secure and anonymous manner.
It may also be a great way to optimize health-related issues in places where they may not be able to connect through the usual means. I believe that I may…

Official currency is a way to get a grip over people. Since taxation doesn´t reach trade (or direct exchange) people could avoid paying more for the same product by recurring to a different kind of payment method.
Therefore, perhaps the best way to overcome the limitations over money is to create an institution capable of offering a parallel system based on direct trade. Then people could trade, whatever they got, for another thing.
If solid enough, this kind of solution would…

Most PC´s have coolers as a part of their cooling system. A cooler, is a small fan that extracts air from inside the PC and sends it out in order to avoid overheating.
They usually have enough force as to move a small windmill. My idea is to develop a device, that can be easily installed in the back of any PC, which would reconvert the eolian energy into electrical energy through a little dynamo.
Then, you can use the dynamo to charge batteries, a cellphone or a…

A great way to improve the yield of money or the people you want to help, is to help them organize collective purchases.
In order to do this, you may get someone to go around, conving neighbors about the benefits of this kind of purchases (buying in advance to stock: counter-inflation technique, ability to foresee consumption, greater discounts by big-size orders).
Also, the persona that organizes this kind of activities can get some monetary recognition for her/his job.…
