Why Cloud+Classroom will help:

Here is a point by point on how Cloud+Classroom will help

1. We are surrounded with new tools that are powerful, mobile, cheap, easy to learn, easy to use, and soon will be ubiquitous. (Jeff Howe)

Cloud+Classroom will bring these tools to students, assisting them in their primary education, as well as adults, because we never stop learning.

2. With these…

Online Empowerment: A Reality!

While working on my missions tonight, I recieved an E-mail from my dear friend, Michele Baron, this is what she wrote:

Act 6 help empower one woman or girl with better access to education or economic opportunity.

You have already done this online in EVOKE. Mentoring, brainstorming, MiaoMiao, me… done. Just write it.

Oil Spill Crisis Map highlights early impact of gulf crisis

Speckled with bright red dots, a new online map details first-person accounts of the oil spill's impact on the eastern Gulf Coast. Most of the reports are clustered along Louisiana and Mississippi's shores, and many involve chemical and oil smells hanging in the air. One report from Pass Christian, Miss., says…

A lesson from POiU

A lesson from POiU

Because I have spent weeks studying the POiU concept, I feel like I have to right to share my judgment of them. I have had some revalations about it, that hadn't occured to me at first, and my perspective has had a rather radical change. In fact, my first impression of POiU is that they are the saviour of business, and the rescuers of the countries economically stranded by the rest of the world. Now I see my errors. POiU…

Cloud+Classroom DIY water filter!!! Water art 2020

Journal entry 2020 "World Water day":

Today Cloud+Classroom celebrated water day and as a network, we worked together to create 17 water art installations, beautifull water filter fountains that were installed around our cities. I think that the community made a real impact on peoples perceptions of water use in their cities. Here are some posts taken from the forums where the efforts were organized:

Amazing Party!!! 2020 Journal Entry

One of many birthdays!

One of best times I have had!!! I just got back from a birthday party that took place in twenty different countries! One of the ways we have connecting since launching Cloud+Classroom, is by having network birthday parties online. The best part is connecting with new people, when their birthdays come up. Today, I just had the best time connecting with new people who share my birthday month, and its amazing that the idea to have these just…

Ethiopia 2020 -Journal Entry

Journal Entry May, 2020

Ate a delicious dinner with Jean, a schoolteacher from Ethiopia. We met online, and instantly realized that we shared the goal of using technology in education. It didn't take long for us to get some projectors shipped, and start a webinar classroom in his home town, that was years ago, an I'm finally getting to meet him. The meal tonight was fantastic, its amazing how my diet has transformed, as I have transformed others diets as well.

Over the years of… Continue

Operating on a climate change oriented schedule

A friend mentioned that my goal to educate with my educational web20 system should be created more quickly because of looming environmental issues. Any ideas for green organizations who may support a educational platform, which could lead to the solving of co2 issues?

Learn10, UE Improvements and Ideas

  • WHICH great challenges and social problems should the EVOKE Network tackle next?
  • I think that UE should rely on the power of UE1.5 during the interim. UE1.5 could offer software that lets the users create their own missions, as the best ideas will come from the agents.

  • WHO would you encourage to play Season 2?
  • I would encourage many more teachers to play, especially if there are features for exporting the mission and…

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Let's start with the chemical constituents of this plant:37 % Non-Nitrogen-Extracts19 - 29 % Ash9 - 21 % Fiber4 % Fat22 % ProteinOnce the leaves are drid, their protein content can reach an astounding 40 %, which is much higher than beef, which even under the best of circ**stances can never exceed 31 % protein. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal. I walk to the fridge and open it to see what there is for me to eat. All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
