A post for agents who like long comments

To all agents! Want to post a large reply to a person but dont want to take up the wh*** page? Well, this is the place to post those extra long comments. Here's how it works.

1. Lets say you have a huge reply to an ongoing discussion in the comment list.

2 What you would do, is write out the wh*** post, perferably somewhere where you can save it.

3. Come to this post, and add the wh*** comment, as well as a link to the orginal post where it would have…

Here is some ammunition

When you have time (its quite long)... read some or all of this thesis on pluralistic mentoring at the USAFA (air force academy)

I hope this will enlighted you as it did me, to the growing understanding of the importance of diversity. Lets use the same lessons!…

Live in or been to africa?

Answer me this please! Are there truly many lemon trees? I heard that there were many lemon trees in Africa from a lecture, it was merely an offhand comment, which I will post the link to later, but could this really be? I need an agent with experience, If you are living in or have visited Africa, please let me know.

A Poem

Sob. Ache. The sadness receeds.

I have tears in my eyes,

but to think of why gives rise to a sob,

and then an ache.

If I could but writhe,

and arch and spin.

Until finally, the feeling,

tossed away, into a heap in the corner.

But I cannot, will not give in.

I refuse to writhe and arch,

and spin becuase I know that next,

I will weep.

Once I weep I know I will scream,

and once I scream, its real.

Living with me, in that moment.

The…

COW POWER for Africa

When I was young(er) I remember watching a tribe about a tribal community in Kenya. One of the things that has distinctly stuck with me over the years is how the cow is considered currency to many. One of the earlier lessons that Amy Smith bestowed upon us was to use the resources available to us. Here is an example of how cows can create electricity!

First you start with

then you…

Pluralistic Mentoring Symposium

Since Evoke finalized, the Alternate Reality Game (ARG) industry has exploded. Working with these games' unique networking feature has given hundreds of thousands of gamers a powerful skill set, which became apparent quickly. As these gamers rose to the top of their fields, using their superior networking skills and all powerful abilties of deferment, one by one the various industries have had their eyes opened as to what makes an employee an asset.

Another vote for Diversity

Of the 33 different points, the trend that rises to the top is: the importance of having a clear and full understanding of a situation . This general advice hearkens back to the military treatises of Sun Tzu: "Know your enemy and know yourself and you can fight a hundred battles without disaster"

To us, as beginner social innovators we are starting to see the value of having a solid source of information regarding the problem we want to solve. These experts are one of the most… Continue

Template for farmers

With knowledge being power, I'm starting feeling like a secret agent. I checked out the possiblities and found some very interesting things. Inventec Appliances based in Taipai can build the wifi ipads for just 259 in parts, The same style of system could be made with discount parts and when size and speed expectations are somewhat lowered you could possibly have a cheap piece of technology able to contain limitless information regarding any chosen subject. My design is in my head, and this… Continue

Buckypaper and Google Alerts

Just caught this on my Google alert of the word "nano"

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/10/20/buckypaper-revolutionary_n_136286.html

The article is one of many regarding the prefix, but I really want to point out the value of Google alerts in a case where I may want access to only the newest updates.Using Google alerts is simply having Google notify you when new material comes out… Continue

Networking

I have thought more about how to create a network of experts, and am considering inviting friends from Q&A sites. They are all talented experts but I'm not sure which ones would be best. Also there seem to be many different willing teachers who can be found through Google video. These passionate individuals take it upon themselves to produce videos teaching and explaining, It is up to us to spread the information around if we are to create an environment of innovation.

We…

Solar power windows

Considering that we wont be regularly using nanotech to produce cheap photovoltaic sheets for a solid decade or two, how about using the old photvoltaic crystal set up in cars, using suction cups, and putting them in the back windows. The average watts per sq foot seems to be between 10 to 15 per sq ft. Seems that anyone with a car window has a spare square foot or two and can replace using grid power with solar. This also could attempt to balance some of the carbon emissions that the car is…

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Let's start with the chemical constituents of this plant:37 % Non-Nitrogen-Extracts19 - 29 % Ash9 - 21 % Fiber4 % Fat22 % ProteinOnce the leaves are drid, their protein content can reach an astounding 40 %, which is much higher than beef, which even under the best of circ**stances can never exceed 31 % protein. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
