I am from Vancouver, BC, Canada- an area that is right on an earthquake fault line. I have experienced a few earthquakes already in my life, but none of them major. As I was growing up, earthquake preparedness was taught to us in school and we were warned that one day, Vancouver would experience a major earthquake. It was just a matter of time.
