Wataday

As this is a big secrete I cannot tell it here :-) But maybe rules in gaming are different. Therefore I have to tell it. Actually it is a nice task, as I really hope that I will have the possibilities to organize huge events for a lot of people. I always wanted to be European Event Managerin for Microsoft when I am around 30...ok it did not work but when I created this wish I have been just before initiating my studies so I wasn't even sure if I will manage to finish my studies so I did not… Continue

Don't dump but drink

My personal water alliance will be with Gerald from my institute. We will save water by forcing people to take the coffee water also from a day before. Till now the process is as follow:

In the morning the water is dumped and replaced with new water. But from today on a sign will show people that this is not the way to do it. See picture:…

W-lan Power

Today it will be the last day before all nuclear power plant in Germany will shut down. Since one year our house is powered with Solar energy. There has been a great invention in 2014, it is more than easy. There is a small bracket which fits to every window and is almost invisible. In former times you had to use huge solar plates and put them onto your roof this has been expensive and complicated. Some people call this w-lan power as you do not need any cables or similar. I do not know how… Continue

Getting dinner in 2020

I will prepare my dinner myself but it is ordered by the "bringing food" community. So I am sure that the food is from a close farmer and free of biocides. And that my local farmers are supported because still there is not a common regulation about food security. But the problem in 9 years will be that i scorch the vegetables because I was on the phone. So I have to give the food to our dog and cook Miracoli..

Food community

There could be virtual food community such as "Mitfahrzentrale" (here you can find car passengers or drivers to come from one city to the other). My community is called "Bringingfood". Here people can poste when they go shopping at a farmer close to your city and then you can ask them if they could shop for you, too. Then you meet in the city. The main problem about getting food from farmers is not the price but to come there. This could be solved by such a shopping community.

Kindertafeln

In Germany we have an organization called "The Tafel" it helps although children in schools. http://www.bildung-plus.de/lernen/sites/Loch_im_Bauch.html

It is a very important organization as exspecially children need healthy and regulary food. And if they do not get it at home we will have a problem with allergy and obesity. Following children cannot concentrate. There are a lot of existing studies proving that… Continue

To power something..

.. that is a challenge I think I am not able to solve. But I could think about avoiding to use power energy which I use every day.
First of all I will stop using plastic gla**** to get water in my work, I will use real gla****. Then I will really shut down my laptop when I leave the office. Then I will be more careful about light which someone or I left on. I will think about more possibilities to pay more attention to my environment.

In Toulouse street lamps are illuminated using people

I think this is a very good and beautiful solution to use sustainable energy. The problem of wind mills and watercraft is that they are really ugly. But here the idea to use food steps of pedestrians in Toulouse (similar to the dancefloor in Netherlands) is a perfect solution to get streets illuminated without using rare ressources or dangerous enery from atomic power plants.

Therefore this is a really good example for ecological energy:…

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Let's start with the chemical constituents of this plant:37 % Non-Nitrogen-Extracts19 - 29 % Ash9 - 21 % Fiber4 % Fat22 % ProteinOnce the leaves are drid, their protein content can reach an astounding 40 %, which is much higher than beef, which even under the best of circ**stances can never exceed 31 % protein. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal. I walk to the fridge and open it to see what there is for me to eat. All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
