Imagine 10

The reason that evoke works is because of the format. The way that you learn, act and then imagine allows you to really get into the concepts that the game is presenting.

All around the world animals are being tortured for peoples consumption. Humans are omnivores but this doesnt justify the unruly treatment of these animals. It is our job to find ways to stop this madness. We must band together and complete this epic win against the meat processing community.

The most important thing I feel that Evoke could tackle would be animal cruelty and the food production industry, there are so many things that should be changed and we could help.

The best way online would simply be an information forum. It would give people the warning signs and prevention tecniques. And it would be accesible to everyone so that anyone could go online to help others or get help.

Act 9

My site would be essentially a social networking site allowing people to talk with eachother and help everyone around the world. you could doc**ent your successes and failures and look for help when needed.

I think covering risk is by far the most important because you always have to analyze the risk and reward of every situation to see if what youre doing is worth it.

I think at age 100 I will be able to tell the younger generations a lot about how to make the world a better place. However I am hoping that the younger generations will be taught how to help the environment and hopefully they will be more knowledgeable than me.

A friend of mine has witnessed natural resource conservation in ethiopia as she goes there every summer to help. This ensures that the people will not go hungry, they cannot do it alone however, they still need a lot of help.

In the year 2020 my community will be incredibly resilient. We will have been working tirelessly to ensure that everyone has adequate evacuation plans from their houses, meeting spots and supplies stored. Also I will have worked to ensure that all buildings are earthquake friendly.

Act 7

My wh*** community has an emergency alarm system. The entire community is aware of this system and it is tested the first wednesday of every month. This is a good system to let people know that there is something wrong.

Living very close to Hayward I am right next to a fault line. This means that I am very susceptible to an eventual earthquake. I would need the immediate notification of earthquakes coming so that i could plan accordingly and be able to get my family to safety before It was too late.

I am hoping that the girls that my sister helps in girl scouts that are now 10 years old, who will be 20 in the year 2020 will be strong confident women. I am hoping that all of them will be well on their way to a college degree and having multiple job offers. They will confident in themselves and therefore be able to accomplish anything.

Act 6

My sister is a group leader for girl scouts, I feel like although this is not an actual empowering place for women i think it can be used as a platform. If girls are confident and comfortable in their own skin at a young age, it will go a long way in helping their future.

I think the case of the legislation against domestic violence is excellent because women are constantly being abused and most of the time in situations where nobody sees the warning signs. The fact that women can go out and look for help makes it a much better situation.

ACT 5

A few days ago, I went into a little thrift store, the owner I vaguely knew, and I was able to barter a transaction with him. Rather than actually paying this person, I traded something of what we both thought was equal value. This is an ancient tecnique, but when used correctly it is very effective.

I think the idea of community currencies would be amazing for the future of local economies. Not only would it ration of funds to the people who really need it, but it would almost ensure that the greediness of major coroprations couldnt take advantage of the less fortunate.

World Water day 2020, when i first thought about it I imagined water world theme park, but that park is actually not a very sustainable water source. World water day I would imagine would consist of people sitting around drinking fresh water, but the vast array of sprinklers and water slides wouldnt be around to help anyone sustain water. That is unless we find a way to complete recycle all the water we use.

I have chosen a different person to follow, it made be cheating as I already know this person, but my uncle who lives in Alaska has partnered with local environmentalits to work to stop the future expansion of oil drilling and possible spills. Granted this doesent really affect the drinking water but i still feel that it adds to the environmental aspect.

I think one of the best water conservation techniques in the schools could make a big difference if it went mainstream. If you think about how much water is used at a school, any way to conserve there would be amazing.

In the year 2020 I will be celebrating my sons 3rd birthday. Not only will we be having a barbeque using all solar powered ovens but the jumpy house that my son and his friends are playing in is also powered by a solar powered motor.

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Let's start with the chemical constituents of this plant:37 % Non-Nitrogen-Extracts19 - 29 % Ash9 - 21 % Fiber4 % Fat22 % ProteinOnce the leaves are drid, their protein content can reach an astounding 40 %, which is much higher than beef, which even under the best of circ**stances can never exceed 31 % protein. I walk to the fridge and open it to see what there is for me to eat. All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
